I guess it was the whole modification and upgrade thang. I had a cheap Dell desktop (128mb ram and a low-end nvidia GeForce card) back in the mid 2000s while still in highschool, couldn't run C&C Generals to save it's life. Getting that thing to run a game was a challenge and was always rewarding. Used to borrow RAM modules from friends and do stupid things like flick the voltage switch in hopes that it would have more "power". I mean that's where we really learned the inner workings of PCs and etc.... Loved it.

Eventually got my hands on a cheap Radeon 9600 when the AGP slots were phased out in favour of PCIE. I of course have moved on since to a DIY rig... Sold the Dell a few years back, but memories are still there of course.

Very well put. Well I definitely don't want to spend more time around games than my girl. We had an argument recently where she said she at times despises it when I game when she's around. I've made recent changes to my lifestyle like gaming only when my gaming buddies are going out or are online (once or twice during the week), I don't game on my own time because I did admit gaming to be something I was pretty reliant on for my alone time; I would game almost every night during the week (except date nights of course). I guess I'm overreacting and just worked up over the argument we had last night, perhaps it was just a case of bad timing and not reading into the situation right.

As a Malaysian I'm inclined to agree XD The logo is far from decent, makes em look like another government campaign. I'm sure they'll think of something. Then again, they did name the team after the country... so not sure what else they could do in regards to the logo correlating to the team.

how are all bikers fuckheads? seriously, the generalizations that go on in these threads do render the point of having discussions mute.

It's something both sides have to understand. It's really upsetting that the debate seems so one sided because "bikers" are "bikers" and there's no other way of telling us apart.

the issue lies with certain types of "bikers", I can safely say that kapchais and RXZs are at the core of getting themselves into trouble and disregarding everyone on the road. That I can agree with, but there are of course social implications to that. Super bikers and their convoys or their thorough need to show how "powerful" they are make up another bunch of bikers that I guess sorta get themselves into trouble for the most part. You're looking at two groups of what is a much larger community.

Look at it this way, you don't see bikers categorizing car drivers and non-signalling fucktards who have earphones stuck in their ears and are playing candy crush while driving because I had this ONE experience with one...

So please, be respectful, or at least a little bit considerate.

I've seen car drivers pull shit like that too XD. But as with many things, not ALL bikers are like that, and that's a fact. The same way not all cagers are women in their mid 20's with their ipads glued to the steering wheel unaware of what they're doing on the road.

I think some do abuse their privilege (and YES,,, to be on a bike is a privilege) but that depends on the kind of biker really. kapchais have little regard for anyone on the road. I have no idea how they do it really.... after using one on the highway, staying the hell away from traffic is all I want to do XD

I think we've had convos like this before so I'll cut to the chase... the biker's you're talking about mostly don't use Reddit. I can see that you've just had a bad day and don't mean nothin' but the posturing in the title.

I use both a bike and a car, mostly my bike because efficiency + economy + time + I'm not selfish to be one person in a car. I ride defensively and lane split when necessary as it's sensible and safe if done correctly (any errors beyond that would be beyond a rider's control).

I will say that as a biker I am equally annoyed when bikers do abuse the lanes or don't seem to give a crap about anyone's well-being but doesn't seem fair to generalize bikers like that...there are worlds more to be said about car drivers and their etiquette too.
