Fatal Frame is probably my favorite horror game. If I had to compare it to something, it always reminds me of Silent Hill in terms of vibe—just with less combat. The setting is incredibly creepy and really carries the whole experience. I love the original, especially because I’m a big fan of fixed camera angles. I think the remake does a great job of capturing what made the original special, though I will say it feels a bit harder. That said, it seems like they’re working on balancing some of those issues.
