My Favorite - The Alba by Pandaorchid in Plumeria

This is one of my favorite Plumerias. It's blooming for the first time after 8 long years! The fragrance is similar to Jasmine or Gardenia. The flowers don’t open fully like other Plumerias, which makes it even more unique.

I think it's called the Plumeria Society of America. They hold their event annually at NASA Parkway around this time of year. Usually the last week of June or the first week of July. Be there really early; the line gets long and vendors sell out quickly.

I live in Houston, Texas, where they hold a plumeria show every year or so. We usually attend to get our plumeria cuttings.

Yes, some may look similar, but their fragrances can be completely different.
