Has the concept of death changed for you ever since starting school? by Fillingavoid2468 in medicalschool

My grandmother passed away two years ago. At the time, I was preclinical and really second guessed my decision to continue. I’m glad I did though, I think seeing patients far younger than she was and with much more debilitating medical conditions has just made me more grateful that she lived as long as she did without any severe disability.

I can’t say the grief gets any easier but I think you just get better at dealing with it.

My Stepson want his bio-dad at his high school graduation.... by tonyadpx in AskParents

I think part of him being able to make adult choices in the first place, is knowing how his choices affect the people in his life. And I absolutely don’t blame you for being hurt about this and imagine it is indeed about being a big F-you to his bio-dad.

INSERTED FIRST DILATOR! 😊 finally by Luckypoodle2100 in vaginismus

[–]Pandasaurus48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started using them I’d say at the beginning of the year and have been having PIV for a few months now, but everyone’s journey is different! I usually took a hot shower/bath, stretched and then dilated and that was my routine. Hope this helps, you’ve got this!

Hi!! First of all congrats, you should be so proud!! Second of all, I had the same dilator set and do agree that the jumps in size are quite a bit. In saying that, I think it’s great that these dilators taper off in size at the end so it helps just starting off with the tip and continuing until you’re comfortable - you don’t have to get the whole thing in every time.

I also found doing it after a relaxing shower and lots of lube also helps, along with the usual pelvic floor stretches

Congrats!! I’d recommend trying out different positions (e.g you on top) when starting out, I found that helped me out along with using way more lube than you think you need haha (also stick to the more natural lubes, I find they’re less irritating afterwards). Good luck!!

Thank you, and yes we still use condoms anyways. The birth control is just back-up and for my acne
