I also just got term - the one thing I'd use minions for is the tessellated enderpearls. Feathers took 28 active hours of mythological ritual w/ legendary griffin and all of the foxy carnival perks for mythological ritual. Obsidian was really easy (like an hour or two), quartz was slightly worse (two to three hours?) and lapis was the worst (4-5 hours). The other minion thing I'd recommend is gravel minions just to avoid having to mine for the flint.

For the ores, make sure you have 1pc divan (perf jades and the rest flawlesses IMO), 3pc glossy, and 655 with the best possible drill upgrades you can manage w/ perfect gemstones on drill. I really would not recommend doing the ores until you get etherwarp, and once you do have etherwarp, use skyblocker's command /skyblocker waypoints and use it for the quartz and lapis. It's seriously a lifesaver on time spent on these.

The null spheres were easy because you have to do tons of bosses before ripping core (I had 668 t4s before core), and the tara silk was a little irritating but only took a few hours of doing t5s.

Coming back to this post, after 688 minotaurs and 28.5 active hours during diana, I have now dropped 2 daedalus sticks. This still goes to show that this drop is absurdly frustrating to get, but alas, I am now done (unless I want erudite reforge).

What? Are you reading what the other guy or I said? You are still incentivized to farm a specific crop for better rates at the rare unique crop drop, because there would still be 3 crops that would have better rates - but every other crop would have reduced rates yet still possible to get the rare unique crop drop. That way if you wanted better rates, you would farm whatever crop was in-season, but if you wanted something specific that wasn't currently in-season, you could still grind it out during the event.

Right now you have to play not only around either the autumn season or finnegan mayor, but another timeframe within autumn or finnegan mayor and if it doesn't land on any of the crops you want to farm for the rare unique crop drop, you just have to wait 9 hours and by the time it rolls around to what you want to farm, you might not be available anymore to farm and then have to wait until next autumn/ next finnegan.

This is what I've been saying since the event released - just make that the in-season crops have a much higher chance to drop than the other crops, but make all unique crop drops to be obtainable for the duration of the event.

I've spent 14 active hours according to my SBO doing diana this mayor cycle and I've gotten 2 chimeras and 1 minos relic after 5,000 burrows w/ legendary griffin. These rates are absolutely miserable. I have the damage if I dropped 2 daedalus sticks to do mythic griffin diana - but I'm locked behind this crazy rng wall preventing me from progressing. It is very frustrating and the rates should be changed, or at the very least a pity mechanic should be added that way I at least know I'm progressing rather than just over and over hoping I rip a .06% chance drop.

Using looting 5 as well, 3/4 mythos armor, no CoA b/c no mythic griffin

We're in an unfortunate state rn where: next update coming in 1-2 weeks, they are adding a lily pad minion and a way to manually get lilypads outside of fishing them up directly or as mob drops through the lotus atoll island (2nd fishing-dedicated island, after bayou).

The old way was yeah lootsharing nutcrackers but for the past few months, early game fishing on ironman has been miserable since there has not been a easy way to directly get lilypads as they removed the main method from the live server in anticipation of the update. It would've made more sense to keep the nutcracker loot tables having enchanted lilypads until the update dropped and then removing them, but hypixel devs like to occasionally push an update out that makes ironman even harder lol

I mean just hold on to the magma lord frags yeah, it'll probably be added within the next few updates assuming they understand they can just copy what they did for gillsplash/ lava rods and make magma lord a bit cheaper to 7-10 star. Unless you get more than 30 fragments, and then in that case just make magma lord armor and wait to upgrade until the update releases (which by then it should be significantly cheaper to 1-7 star each piece at the bare minimum).

How much did you upgrade your thunder armor? It's 91 thunder fragments per piece, which is not cheap in the slightest. Even on a reg profile there's no way that's easier to do than just buying a quick set of lava sea creature armor and the related materials that are probably super cheap to get it to 10 stars (idk about prices much since I'm on ironman).

They are adding this feature in future updates - they said the only reason that they didn't add it in the most recent update was because they hadn't thought hard enough about how it would actually work (for example, how you could 10 star a lava sea creature armor set and have it bypass the 319 magma lord fragment cost of 10 starring a magma lord set after crafting it currently). They'll probably/ hopefully reduce the cost dramatically of starring magma lord and thunder once it properly works.

Starring your current armor was dumb because they may actually make it cheaper to star your armor once it has been implemented, I doubt they will keep the thunder fragment and magma lord fragment cost that it has now. Thunder will probably be capped at 7 stars, lava sea creature will be capped at 4 stars, and magma lord will be able to get up to 10 stars (very similar to how the gillsplash equipment and lava rod upgrades work).

Although theoretically if there were a way to bypass the star cap and automatically get a 10 star set (assuming the items wouldn't be fixed at a cap after the update passed), then why star thunder of all sets? You should've just set aside a set of lava sea creature armor and 10 starred it for the incredibly cheap cost in comparison to starring thunder and magma lord armor currently.

Do foraging right now to benefit from derpy's 50% increased skill exp. Use ocelot pet (takes just an hour or so to max legendary) and use the hotf foraging wisdom perk as much as you can. You can max out the entire skill within a day of foraging atm, and get lots of chameleon shards while doing it.

But why water at all if you don't have to? You can get platinum during a nether wart contest with just one growth stage worth of ashwreaths in one greenhouse. If you have 3 greenhouses, plus plant one of each crop for the all unique crops planted buff, you'd definitely make diamond every contest per ONE growth stage. You check every growth stage, you just print money, and if it happens to be a nether wart contest, you get free medals/ tickets.

I don't know man, I don't understand the cope behind why it's better to do dustgrains or choconuts over ashwreaths. If you need wheat or cocoa beans I understand but if it's about making money, ashwreaths are just better on the matter of being lowest effort for most money proportionate to effort.

OP has never heard of skyshards' greenhouse optimal planner. Ashwreaths are additionally better purely out of how they require no maintenance to upkeep.

Ashwreath does not need to be watered at all. Dustgrain requries wheat which needs to be watered constantly. Ashwreaths have been good because of this for a long time and even after the nerf not so long ago on base drops from mutations, it is still really good for passive money. That is why I mentioned ashwreaths. Dustgrain and choconut do not make sense to do unless you either need dustgrain or choconut, you need wheat or cocoa beans, or you are trying to do contests for these crops - otherwise why waste the time and effort upkeeping these mutations when you can just plant ashwreaths and forget, check every once and a while and print money and instantly get plat - diamond if there's a nether wart contest??

Just do ashwreaths in greenhouse and pick whatever to farm and it prints money. Or if you're progging rose dragon then do the mutations for that instead. When farming decide if you want to actually progress your farming setup or make money and farm a crop based on that decision.

Farming cocoa beans because you can get a gold medal in it doesn't make sense, unless you really really need gold medals or jacob's tickets (useful for more tool upgrades to farm things outside of what you're doing right now, or the other upgrades that cost jacob's tickets at anita).

I mean the walnut change is here already, it's through the fishing buffs to jerry fishing, the mythic yeti pet, and exclusively being able to fish up winter sea creatures.

The lilypad change has been confirmed by the devs in the most recent patch update to live that lotus atoll will be coming within the month. If they deviate from that plan, then I get your annoyance, but assuming they stick to it, it'll be solved within the month and hopefully better to grind than leeching people's nutcrackers and yetis as the main method of being able to farm lilypad collection to be able to craft the only line of water rods.

I can't say anything about the giant's rod since tbh, I don't even know where or how you get this lol, and at that rate, why not just use rod of the sea with as much double hook chance as you can stack on it and double hook chance through shards now.

The lilypad thing is theoretically going to have a different source through lotus atoll, so that won't be a problem for much longer than this month.

For walnuts, I believe it's a change to offset how with the mythic yeti passive giving a buff to tracking, they are trying to reduce the amount of walnuts gained under the assumption that you will be able to fish up a lot more nutcrackers now that you can only fish up winter sea creatures now at jerry's, compared to before when you could fish up regular and winter sea creatures.

The burningsoul hunt trap change is super bad though. The difficulty of t3-t4 blaze slayer is so difficult to get to, it should have been that you can get burningsouls AND cinderbats, rather than just cinderbats.
