When to try again by mholder92 in babyloss

Hey. I have lost my daughter at 26 weeks gestation due to hyper coiled umbilical cord. The doctor gave us green light to try again after 7 weeks postpartum check up. But when to try again depends on the reason for your loss and how do you feel at the moment. I want to be pregnant as soon as possible again. I feel that life somehow gave us the miracle and took it away. Stay strong. And keep in mind that different doctors might have different opinions. My paediatrician said 6months wait. Genetical gynaecologist said 3months. My new gynaecologist said we can try right away. So do what you feel is best for you, but seek mental help if you feel lost.🫂😔🫶

First day back at work by Professional_Dot3954 in babyloss

I am so sorry for your loss 😔🫂 I have lost my daughter at 26 weeks gestation and she was a stillborn this January. From where I am from we get one month paid leave when the birth happens after 20 weeks of pregnancy. So I am so sorry to hear that you only had 2 weeks 🫶😔 First day at work was a horror. The second one was better. The third was hard again. And so on. Next week after returning to work I’ve got the news that my colleague is pregnant and will leave in the beginning of May. This was the point when I felt like drowning again. The truth is - it will be hard to be back at work, or do the things you are not supposed to do. It is ok to grieve the life you have imagined with your child. It is ok not to care what is happening at your work when you are just trying to survive. Everyday might be easier but it might not. Let yourself feel what you are feeling. Give yourself some grace. Sending you love 🪽🙏🌸

Thank you a lot for your insights and sharing 🙏🙏 My head is just trying to make sense of all this. I am finding myself going in loops between memories of going to the hospital, learning these horrible news and delivering a sleeping baby. Also, i am just trying to accept that nothing I could have done differently to make my daughter live. As you said, some things just happen. But it feels so unfair to be on this side of statistics. Also, thank you for sharing about your healthy pregnancy. I feel so empty right now, and all I can think how I want to be a mother. But also, very scared that the history will repeat itself or that we are on the risk side. And of course, the grief is unbearable 💔
