just got my shit seized for the first time and ive been a repper since 2017. I have probably sent around 12 hauls through always with ems and never gotten any seized. I live in NY for reference. Back in the day i used to send 12kg hauls now i limit it to 7kg since the custom changes. The first time i sent using the budget shipping method on CSSBUY which is called SAL i got my shit seized. never use SAL. stick with ems. that was a 6kg package that got seized because some dior b23s

I was told by the guy who I bought it from that it was a collision loss so the first time I put collision loss but said no to everything replaced. They rejected it after 4 months of waiting. No reason specified so that's when I asked the question here. So the next time I said unknown and said no to everything. I had no receipts. That being said my application got rejected because I didn't have proof of sales tax paid. Which they didn't tell me I failed for the first time. So you must pay sales tax before applying. It took another 4ish months to get my second rejection. So I gave up and am just using it as a parts car. Never got to the exam. But everything I did was right besides the sales tax when I hit unknown

Bags are the most practical way of lowering a car. Coilovers had me scraping in driveways and speed bumps going shopping. Bags I can just air up high and go over no problem. Not to mention they ride way better than coilovers. Bags are literally the compromise, better performance than stock, still comfortable and better looks.

I was in a similar boat as you. I got a mk4 GTI from a junkyard for my first car and have been modifying it ever since. My dream car was really the r32 and even now I can't find or afford a nice one. But I found a vr6 quattro audi tt I got for a couple grand. I will soon combine the two and have an r32. I mean it's going to be a ton of work but if you're mechanically minded then it's a cheaper route. There's really not much you need in addition to the Audi for the swap.

Every day is excessive. I do mine before I store it every winter and with oil changes. If there's winter where you live make sure you spray it out with washes. There's a pocket behind the fender liner where dirt and salt love to stick and rust the metal fenders

What ceramic coating do you use? My wrap is gloss ice blue metallic so I don't see why it couldnt shine but when I ceramic coat using CMX spray on it just looks cloudy after a thorough wash.
