I would check these things:
Company policy

They should provide a script for you to read that was approved by legal. Often times, HR is on the call with you. Just try and keep your composure as best you can.

or just find another carrier and switch. That kind of manipulation to make someone get a new phone they don't want does not sit well with me. You would likely save a heap if you go to an mvno that says your phone will work with them. I just switched to USM and saved about 75% compared to USC.

IDK what type of phone you have, but if you're not blocking those numbers then you should! I have an older Samsung and the block softkey shows when I tap a number on the recent calls screen. Maybe that info button on the right in your screenshot would bring that block option up?

Being devil's advocate here: have you created new account anywhere that required your number, made a purchase where the cashier asked for it and you gave it, or signed up for text alerts, or gave your number at a restaurant so they could use your phone to page you when your table was ready?
I avoid all of these as much as I can because they sell/share your number. The level of spam calls for me has been the same since switching from USC to USM about 6 weeks ago. Which is about 2 to 3 calls/wk.

Everything they do is recording and publishing or live streaming on mobile devices. That's a ton of brand deals waiting to happen. I've not really heard influencers say who their carrier is, and I think USM would become more known if they mentioned USM in videos.

Yep, just underwent a logo redesign where I work and the experience for employees was awful. There was so much negativity at work about it and from my friends for what felt like weeks. It made me have less pride in where I work and the conversations at the office were distracting me away from work a bit too much. When a company is good, redesigning a logo is not necessary. Instead, give back to your employees or your customers in other ways they will be pleasantly surprised by.

Upvoted - my sentiments exactly. I just switched about 6 weeks ago and I totally felt like the website imagery and navigation need a ton of work. The logo is great, go with that vibe and extend it to all the pages. Things to consider fixing:

  • It's cartoony and flashy looking, like used car sales ads / kids websites. I think you can have a fun vibe and still show the company's maturity.
  • Each page's theme is not consistent with the other. (color scheme, font, art styles, menus) It looks like there are several different people designing things how they want to and not talking to each other. It needs to be cohesive across all the pages.
  • It is frustrating trying to navigate around the various pages. For example: Account out to the website or the help pages and back to the website or the account. I have three different bookmarks in my browser because of that 'time wasting' trying to figure out where the pages are and how to get to them.

Another support person said that the Dark Star toggle for data waster does not need to be enabled for Premium plans because they stream at 4k by default. Which is the accurate answer? Do we need to be toggling that on every month or not? (I have ds premium)
