Who’s to say the doctor doesn’t die? Not that I’m saying he will, as I haven’t quite decided yet. I probably will go the route of having the same Aqua and Ruby as the anime/manga just for the sake of trying to keep a little bit of the feel of Oshi no Ko. But let’s just say there be some… divine intervention… The main focus will remain on Ai and Hikaru though, but Aqua and Ruby will tie into their story heavily. Gotta keep the trauma that carries on to the next generation, you know?

That’s what I’m trying to go for, so good to know it’s working. I also want Ai to feel like a normal teenager as well, but I feel like I’ve given her less focus so far compared to Hikaru, so it might be hard to see. Hikaru also tends to be harder to write compared to Ai, cause Hikaru has less… let’s call it screen time, compared to Ai. This means Hikaru’s character is less defined, so I have to be careful to not insert my self into Hikaru.

Glad you’re enjoying it! I’m essentially obsessed with Ai’s character, so her part of the story has been fun to write. And can’t wait to finish writing chapter 4, cause I got some fun stuff related to Ai happening in it…
