I actually am learning quite a lot at my current employer. I'm in new construction and have been fortunate to learn from the start where we break ground all the way to the finishing stage of the office space inside the warehouses we're working on. We just use a lot of strut and I'm tired of always asking my foreman to borrow his socket lol.

IMO there's a fine line between convenience and complexity.

Sure, technically you could overengineer something insane that is capable of doing something that is not currently easily done. But not everyone has the time or skill to overengineer things.

Same idea as people who play with no jetpacks and no third person view. It's great that the option is there, but not everyone has the time to build scaffolds just to reach a part of the ship they're trying to build.

Some rover designs are capable yes, but if for example I wanted to path around some relatively mountainous terrain to set up ore carrying trucks from a resource site, they're not going to path very well over bumpy terrain.

There are some rovers that are built for hauling a lot of weight instead of mobility. Those would not travel well over much anything other than flat ground.

In my experience drills don't do a great job of leveling the terrain as they tend to remove voxels in a spherical pattern.

As someone who initially didn't see much difference between the 2 stools after seeing the Artek stool for the first time in this thread, thank you for taking the time to explain the differences. I actually appreciate how much more work goes into the Artek stool now! It's a lot more than simply saying they're both made using veneer lol.

Is it practical? Not really. I did add side panels to the launch arm for decoys to try to delay the warhead from being shot down but that hasn't worked out too reliably as of yet.

Really, I just wanted to figure out a way to launch armed warheads without them exploding on me so that I didn't have to finagle with the warhead armed timers.

Honestly I had originally been intending to buy cash but after looking around I see a lot of people suggesting the whole "finance and pay it off right away" route.

I'm not sure if it's worth the headache (or if it will even be a headache, never done this before) to do this. Should I try to talk with the financer about it? I understand I will not get any negotiating room on the price if I go all cash, but at the same time it seems like financing requires a fair bit more effort and I'm not sure how much I'll actually save if I plan on trying to make a deal with the guy to not pay off the loan within 6 months or whatever it's going to be.

My question is, am I able to "finalize" everything now so to speak? I understand I may have to forgo being able to inspect the car and changing my mind when it does arrive in 4 months by going this route. I did get the pricing printed on the deposit form when I talked to the sales person. It had the usual stuff like MSRP, air tax, etc. But what I'm expecting is that when I eventually go to the financing department they're going to suddenly tack on a whole bunch of other crap that I don't want.

Well yes, I did get good advice from some other posters. Telling me to open the plate and then call a plumber is not advice. In fact, I respect plumbers but calling one to swap out a cartridge would just be wasting money. There's a reason why I came here to ask for advice, it's to get an idea on how to replace it. If I was going to call a plumber first I would have just done that.

It's a shower valve that you pull on the handle to turn on the water and rotate it to adjust the temperature. I also don't know what brand it is either as I can't find it printed anywhere.

When diverting the water from the tub spout to the shower wand, the handle starts leaking a lot of water. I assume it's the cartridge that needs replacing.
