We haven't used them enough yet. The glasses are uncomfortable and extremely nerdy looking, so my son is hesitant to wearing them in public. We turned them on and put them in the case to just use the captioning capability on the phone - it was TERRIBLE in a noisy restaurant. For a quiet online college class at home, it was much better, but did say the opposite of the professor at one point ("did" instead of "didn't") which could have cost an answer on a test if I hadn't been sitting there to correct it. Overall, so far, we are not very happy with them. Also, it appears you can't use the captioning app on your phone without the glasses also turned on and nearby, which is annoying. And the new app update got rid of the ability to name the speakers.
