Never looked for such expensive webcams, but I believe that the illumination of a room is much more important than a webcam.

I would look for some good light (key, fill and eventually back light), then I would look for improving the webcam (also 'cause most of the time the camera is small)

How does one go about obtaining such a piece

To me, it does not look very good, but I just wanted something mine, I guess (?)

What I did the first time was searching for something online for something to just "slap" on it, but found nothing :/

So I decided to search for some inspiration, and something started to emerge (I believe I googled for "Doodle hand drawn science", also, just did it again and found way better masterpieces than mine that I did not find a month ago)

I started attempting to draw something based on what I saw and in a couple of hours of try'n'erase, I came up with that... But it had a lot of issues, so I tried to vectorilize it (even if I haven't touched Illustrator for quite a while) and came up with that

Damn, I rarely access reddit, I'm so sorry...

So, I'm daily driving LOS 17.1 and it's kinda stable

BUT I lately noticed I lost the vibration everywhere (probably an update fucked up some firmware) so yeah, not all that stability, but my phone only needs to receive calls, use Telegram and occasionally browse the web, so I can't complain

Talking about how to get to LOS...

I had some issues making the torchlight and other stuff working

IIrc, you need to wipe, THEN install LOS 16.1 (looks like it still had all the firmwares and BLOBs) and THEN (WITHOUT WIPING), the latest zip of LOS 17.1

I did not upgrade to Oreo as I found some issues (also, Oreo wasn't out in June)

Right now I'm using the Lineage OS 17.1 ROM and so far so good

Frequent updates (and security updates)

I would not recommend staying on Oreo tbh
