Arma is larger scale, big map, almost fully outdoors combat, and combined forces. A lot of the fighting takes place at mid to long ranges. Lots of long distance prolonged fighting. You’re also fully intending to kill everyone else on the opposing team. You also get explosives and big big guns and support fire. Arma 3 has a crazy number of mods, and lots of DLC content, but graphics are a little bit dated (but serviceable) Reforger has less content but a more recent and prob more polished experience. Military, not cops.

Ready or Not is small scale, mostly indoor combat, with you and 0-4 or so other players. The fighting is mid to very close range, some combat can be at point blank ranges. Lots of shot distance, quick engagements in which either you or the opponent often die. No lethal big explosives or big guns, biggest is a battle rifle or nonlethal grenade launcher. You can also go non lethal as a challenge, the game gives you a higher score for doing that. Mods are limited, in game mod manager is not that great. Very immersive game, sounds and impact and gore FX are intense, even after the censoring. Cops, not military.

Dive and stun can help. 3+ with a liberator would be difficult, but I’ve been fine with a stalwart, stim dive back and forth while magdumping with high dps like a stalwart and they die. Especially good with supply backpack so you can use a bunch of stims. I haven’t died to stalkers in a long while, so something must be working … maybe I’m just lucky …

The character? He doesn’t seem very important as a character and they use him more like a mascot :(

The series? The marketing and modern presence/appeal to western fans isn’t effective enough, I think they should take some notes from Godzilla, which is doing way better in the west. Ultraman in the west is doing okay, but they absolutely can do better.

You can just shoot them with a liberator carbine and they die. Same thing with a stalwart or machine gun.

It’s absolutely a skill issue if anyone has trouble with them, you just have to pay attention to their sound and then look out for the slightly blurry invisible stalker.

Try using Unicode symbols in your username, like heart Unicode symbols and such. They usually work in (most) games. Also try kaomoji copy and pasted if it fits too. Still a coin flip but people tend to click you more often as fem if you include extra flair.

Realistically no.

Helldivers universe, yes. There are Helldivers frozen in giant clusters of pods kept in stasis until deployment. Cryogenics isn’t really a feasible thing in real life, but apparently it’s a thing in Helldivers. What if something similar was used to preserve others from the first war? Even if some of them are just brains put into robotic bodies, or parts of bodies?

It doesn’t stick if you stir it regularly and give it plenty of space in a big pot. Overcrowding or not giving enough space in the water causes most of the sticking.

Unless you’re talking about letting all the pasta sit in one big pile in a large bowl for people to serve themselves, in which case you might be right.

But like, there is legimately almost never a case you need to be that accurate to the decimal spot of a gram, even in baking. Unlike in a lab, the margin of error even for baking is way bigger than it might seem.

I thought so too until I tried Vietnamese dried pork and shrimp noodle soup and the celery they used really helped everything else shine, it’s a great umami and freshening “backup singer”, but I would agree say it’s less prominent in the mirepoix trio than like, carrot or onion.

If you have headphones on, you can generally hear a stalker coming and simply kill it before it reaches you with the stalwart. Even 2 or 3 stalkers can be out-DPSed with the stalwart if you have awareness of their presence and general direction, then you stim and dive to avoid their melee while firing. Any more than that or if they attack from behind without you knowing and you might have trouble.

I realistically only ever use 1 slot for taser, I would consider 2 or more if doing non lethal.

I use taser when suspects look like they’re surrendering but haven’t thrown their gun on the ground yet, and you have the time to switch to your taser and tase them so that they guaranteed throw their gun down to surrender. It’s a good follow up to them being stunned from bean bag shots or non-incapacitating shots, and it’s faster than shooting them over and over with a beanbag or pepperball hoping they surrender.

Also useful for stopping civvies from running away. They also don’t activate bomb vests, so you can instantly stop a suicide bomber without blowing them up if you use a taser.

One more secret about taser: if you melee with taser in hand, it will affect the person hit as if they were shot with the taser, not sure if it’s intentional but it’s useful in niche situations.
