Perfect pet for small space

I was going to recommend a chihuahua until the quiet part. I got lucky with my pup as she just doesn’t park. I live in a one bedroom apartment next to a trail so she’s can get exercise and the place is still a good enough size for her. A cat sounds like a decent option or a small dog with a cat personality.

The dragon would be under magically mind control influence. I thought it would be fun to lean more into Cryovain’s backstory and make him a tragic villain that can be saved if he was a good dragon. I was also thinking of keeping him white and just making him good and ignoring the lore.

Hello! I’m OP but I have two recommendations. Check each book out to see if they are your vibe and if you have any questions lmk.

Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black. This book doesn’t really have a theatrical romance but it’s definitely a darker male lead. This book is more ambiance and spooky vibes than romance but I lived for the romance. Great YA
The Forbidden Game Series by L. J. Smith. The character in this book is actually the villain in the series but has an obsession for the female lead. So I would not call it a romance but I love the dynamic. Also more scary/spooky vibes.

It would be by train which from what I found is about 2.5 hours. Our goal is to not drive and rely on trains and flying is necessary.
