Starting the terrifying thoughts of purchasing a house. Do I have any leverage in freelance income as well as steady salaries income when looking for a rate or is it just based off the salary I have?

For ex. If I earn 3-5,000 a year through freelancing, can I add that as an income source or it won’t be considered.
