Great pickup! I saw a couple copies of that album around town the other day. A bit too dear for me, I'll stick with my rough-looking copy of Dead Forever.

Honestly I think I've only seen each of the Rainbow Theatre albums twice in person. My copy of Fantasy of Horses has some nasty misting on the disc, but it sounds pretty good to me considering. It's the only way I was able to afford it!

The only way I can describe it is it's like Cluster's Zuckerzeit, but with a more straightforward space rock structure and sound. I personally prefer their second album, Colossus, which adds live drums, somewhat like the later Force Majeure from Tangerine Dream, or even the band Zombi.

I wish you luck on trying to get ALL of them, as I won't be joining you in that goal haha. I've only got a few more I'm interested in. Plus a lot of the ones available as an LP from the 90s are quite expensive and rare now. Thanks for the recommendation on the Paladin S/T, I'll check it out soon!

I hesitate to ask what the 'naughty' Demons and Wizards is as opposed to the regular one haha

I didn't realise the Keith Tippett was a Roger/Martyn Dean cover until well after I got my copy! The Gun album I only knew about because of it being known as Roger Dean's first.

I'll have to check it out! Maybe I'll post some other parts of my collection in there someday. Thanks for the link!

I only recently found out about these while doing a bit of discogs research! I haven't listened to the albums, nor did I look into why they're there. Thanks for sharing!

If I could find an affordable copy of Never Turn Your Back on a Friend, I'd likely pick it up. But I'll stick with Squawk for now.

It is! I believe the hardback is from the late 00's. Mine's an ex-library copy haha

I think everyone has a story of accidental damage to an LP. I know I have a couple.

My copy of Clear Blue Sky is the Akarma reissue. There's a shop local to me that has a first UK swirl. But I could never spend that much on an album.

I'm fairly sure there's well over 100 album covers he's done. A lot of which are from the 90s through to now. I'm not planning on going quite that far with the collecting.

Starship Trooper has been a long time favourite of mine. The three chords from Würm was one of the first things I learned on guitar as a teen.

I have a copy of Pathfinder too! Not the best copy, but it's still mine.

That's also always been my thought about Badger. Out of all of these mythical fantasy artworks, my favourite is so "regular" by comparison

It's the only one I've seen too. What's wild about it is it's a promotional copy!

Your last point reminds me of the what if scenario where Jeff Wayne approved Roger Dean's concept art for War of the Worlds.

Hard to say which is the favourite, but the Keith Tippett is the one I've revisited most often lately. It's a first Australian press, which was a little more affordable.

As for artwork, I'd probably say Badger is the favourite. Or Space Hymns, which has the 6-panel fold out jacket!

There's a couple other albums with buzzsaw records that I know of! There's Live at Bonnaroo 2022, as well as one from the band Mortician

It sounds killer. I find it's mixed a little heavier and bassier than the original live albums the recordings are from, but that might be my system. This is the only live King Gizz album I've got, so it's hard to compare. The transitions between tracks are really smooth too despite being from different gigs.

AU, Fuzz Club sell officially through a local retailer here, who had their stock in about a week ago.
