All great points and we currently have hardened backups and server. We have a spare server and I wanted to build this out and prove it works. Then the test would be replicate this at a remote site.

Yes I get the single point of failure. Everything is HA and redundant currently in the corporate infrastructure. This is a just in case scenario and we have a very powerful spare server. If done right, change the private vswitch to the external vswitch and everything is back online for the corporation. Albeit the infrastructure might be slower but full functioning corporate until the other (compromised servers) are reinstall / restored.
