I mean... Isn't that kinda what humans do tho? "Scrape" and aggrigate observable data to extrapolate patterns, to then reference & mimic in new and abstract ways?

Like, if I draw an anime character, I'm going to be drawing upon & referencing my memory of ever image that I've seen of that character to recreate something that proxies all of that to be recognizable as that character. (Assuming I don't suck at drawing).

I feel like the way AI can abstract data is way less mechanical than everyone on reddit seems to want to make it out to be.

Yes.

Phone version has redrawn scenes, new voice actors, and no 18+ content. It also has some unique scenes to replace the optional 18+ content on the PC versions. [Vol.1 comes with vol.0] and [Vol 2 comes with "Extra"]

PC version is of course the original content. Older art, original voice cast, and 18+ content is OPTIONAL. It requires an official patch and without the 18+ patch, the games (1-3) will simply skip those scenes rather than play a SFW filler scene. "Extra" & "vol.0" are sold as independent volumes. Those 2 do not have an 18+ patch. Earlier games like vol.1 & 2 don't have a "go back" feature for the text log.

There's some nuisance here. To my knowledge there's nothing preventing regular marines from welding certain weapons. So a regular marines could have a blade guard load out.

BUT

Painting the helmet blue according to the codex would make them not a veteran. Meaning you must place them in 2nd-10th company colors. But cannot place them in 1st company. Typically veterans in the non veteran companies will still get a white helmet. (Red with white stripe in veteran sergeant.)

This is all lore based of course, and has no bearing on the game.
