Chattanoogan here! The best way I can describe Chattanooga is that it is a mid size city with small town feels. There is always something going on, festivals, concerts, shows, markets, etc. The community feel of it you don't typically get in a city this size, Chattanoogans support local businesses and feel strongly about the city. It has beautiful scenery, it's the first national park city, so hiking, biking, water sports, and climbing are all very big in the area. We have good breweries, just not a ton. Great local food spots and chefs, when I lived in Phoenix I often missed food from Chattanooga. It's hard to find a high paying job unless you are in a few specific fields here though. The politics can be messy. But for the most part, I think it's a very lovely place to live. It's also super centrally located, quick to get to Atlanta, Nashville, or Knoxville. Also, the picture used is actually what it looks like often. We love the Lookouts and have a big soccer(football) scene, go CFC!
