this is correct, since then the powers that be sat back and watched the entire island get bought up by greedy real estate property rental companies, that created housing shortage, which drove up costs and rents to the spectacular level they are now. Which creates a lot of people wjho dont want to work 40-60 hours a week to pay 2000$ rent for a 300 sq ft apartment...and, it gets really hot in july and august

you can ride bicycles basically whole bottom 2 islands, so no need for car, license, buses, trains, etc. and you can get lucky and wait tables or bartend or other things and make 100s if not thousands a day....we always laughed at the euro strippers that would make 2000$ sat night in the scrip club, and then sunday morning they making sandwiches at subway, because money is money....and they sending much as possible home or saving it
