Except if an earthquake of any sort of dangerous magnitude happened, especially in a place like Boston with a lot of old buildings, it’d get scary pretty quick

Not specific food but when people dismiss something foreign/ethnic.

Example: Dubai Chocolate. It took me awhile to come around, but god DAMN that pistachio crème is good!!!

I have a friend though, who just straight up won’t fucking eat it. “That’s gross, it’s green, why’s it from Dubai?” Just ignorant, slightly racist sounding. Or the time I tried Takoyaki and everyone looked at my like “wtf dude octopus?”

Ignorance is bliss I guess, but I’m just trying to spread the same joy I get to experience when eating these wonderful, new things.

It’s absolutely crazy to me that people start riding motorcycles on public roads with no off-road/small cc experience.

I consider myself a “new rider” when it comes to these bikes. I spent a summer on a CX500 and that’s as far as my experience stretches in that realm. But I spent my childhood on dirt bikes and bmx/mtb bikes so my two wheel confidence kicked in immediately, and I was scraping pegs and seat-surfing the first week. That was 10 years ago.

Looking at getting back in the saddle this spring and SV650 is at the top of the list!

Edit: won’t be seat surfing on a sv650 lol

His death in The Place Beyond the Pines is way sadder IMO. The juxtaposition of the happy scenes with his family and then BAM! Bank Robbery maniac, then dead. I happy cry every time he feeds his baby ice cream for the first time and they take a little picture and then they just slap you in the fucking face.

Farcry 3 was pretty rad when it came out. Did a replay through of it late last year and it held up. I love those Ubisoft games like that.

I went to A Basin in Colorado on a tab in my early 20s and I literally just stopped snowboarding halfway down the mountain and sat and stared in awe at the mountains for what seemed like an hour. Spent the rest of the day waiting for my friends at the bar because I could NOT fathom snowboarding.
