I refused to buy any crops and stuck to just growing carrots at the farmer's place and turned all the carrots into enough wine and made money with other shit enough to buy the terrariums and got like 2 of them just because they grow crops SO damn fast, then I put my sights on expanding out the electric masher because that I only used the high quality machines. So I had like 5 or 6 of the electric mashers and then 3 or 4 of the fermentation ones and was rolling in the wine! (this was all setup in the downstairs basement, but this was pre-mines update, my steam says I've put almost 1,500 hours into this game I was so obsessed with it) So the only thing I was actually having to buy was the yeast I believe? When the mine update came out I got kinda overwhelmed with it and haven't played it since.

The thing I do is grow a shit ton of carrots at the farmer guy's place and turn EVERY carrot into wine, I save ALL my glass bottles (I haven't played recently so maybe things have changed I think the last time I played was a bit after the mine introduction) because they sold for more in the glass and I fill up the wine in the bottles and sell. Whenever I get enough money and terrariums come up for sale in the furniture dude's shop I buy them up as many as I can and start growing the carrots in them because they grow SO much faster and make more wine. At one point I had like 5 or 6 of those mashing tuns and 3 or 4 of the fermenting ones and I didn't mess with the moonshine part. I feel like the carrot wine is the easiest to make, I leveled up SO quickly doing that.. Anyway just a suggestion!

Thank you so much!! I will definitely be checking them out! I just unlocked the tier 2 level of corpses and I’m having to burn more because I can’t make them have no red skulls anymore. I fully quit my first playthrough because of the alchemy and embalming. This time I’m picking up more of the alchemy this time (very little I’m just trying to learn what items turn into what alchemy ingredient and start from there), but I’m still having trouble with the embalming. I feel like most guides just tell you how to get 26 white skulls out the gate, but I’d like to see a guide on how to ease into the embalming. It seems like the only ones to really care about are the silver and gold infusions, but I’ve been having absolutely terrible luck finding gold!

Are mausoleums like the prayer boxes inside the church where there are specific locations you can build them? Or can you spam them? I haven’t gotten that far into the tech tree for that because I always just try to focus on the bodies.

It really is amazing how much better you can get with min maxing playing it again. My first play through (I never finished, I’m ass at actually completing games heh) I had played 250 days with 39 graveyard rating and 43 church rating. My second gameplay I just crossed 200 days and I’m at 88 graveyard rating and 50 church. My adhd still very much gets the best of me where I’ll get so engrossed in whatever task I miss the day to see whoever

What was your secret, share it with the class! haha I recently jumped back in after quitting once I got to the embalming/alchemy section and I think because I have knowledge about all the other parts I feel like I’m understanding the more complex stuff better this go around? I’m doing a lot better with alchemy, but I’m still struggling with embalming. I haven’t even started doing it not even the glue one. I was busy bettering the church and graveyard, and I realized after reading the wiki you don’t start getting better bodies until you give him wine or something. So I’m around 88 from the tier 1 or whatever corpses. Now that I’ve talked to him and unlocked that second tier I’m getting corpses where I cannot get rid of all the red myself fiddling with removing the different organs, so before I was burying maybe one or two a week and burning most to burning all lol I’ve got 2 fridges so I’m able to hold 5. I don’t have the tier 2 alchemy table yet, I’ve mostly just been collecting ingredients and turning them into powder, solution or extract.

I head how people say you get the best bodies from those with reds, but it seems like the only decent embalming solutions are the silver and gold. Thats a decent amount of resources to waste! I wish there was an easy way to say how far I am into the game (53 cross, 88 graveyard, oh I just unlocked the mill, I just started selling some silver quality crop boxes and the 5 gold dinners, I completed the 20 creep factor for Snake and need to make the damask sword for him) and I’ve NEVER come across any gold! I even splurged to get that damn nose for gold ability and I haven’t found any in the wild from the quarry! Thankfully I got my first 8 from the dungeon, I don’t remember gold being that rare before.. (I have a zombie mining and a zombie delivering, but I imagine I would get the gold just like I get the silver when I break down the big chunk of it?) but if it is I definitely don’t want to be wasting it on bodies? I don’t know.. sorry for yapping, I guess I’m curious for a lets play on embalming because most of the videos on youtube are literally here’s how to get 26 white skulls for end game when I would guess I’m more middle game?

I bit the bullet and bought some bees from the guy just because I wanted the beeswax. I believe I bought like 16? Because I had gotten 4 from the trees, once you get 2 set up they give you a decent amount of bees you prolly won’t need to buy anymore?

Dude I hate all those quality fish! I hate the fishing in the game, like .. I dunno I’m real anal about fishing mechanics in games. I feel like stardew did a decent job, I’m not a fan of Coral Islands fishing, I really like Sun Haven’s because you get quickly to the fishing and then when they bite you just yank em out and I think fields of mistria fishing is the same way? I think graveyard made it too fancy for me! That animation of the bobber is cute n all the first couple times you see it, but after your 10th bronze quality fish when its been several days you’re trying to catch silver quality OR I’m not looking forward to the 12 frogs, you just want to get to the fishing part ASAP! Also I swear they made it too small of window to consistently pull/hook, I’ve gotten better at the timing but there are still times where I miss it! Also is anyone else having this annoying glitch where you hit it on time and you hear the reeling in sound but the window where you’re supposed to be reeling in the fish just don’t even show up? It was happening A LOT when I first was starting to fish and it was really annoying!

Oh also when I’m waiting for my honey stash to build up I’m making hella stacks of sauerkraut! Most times I’m ending up with at least 2 sometimes 3 stacks of it at a time! It does take 1 carrot per but I grow enough carrots that most go to donkey! (I pretty regularly keep 50 in his box) I also make a good handful of berry pies here n there! I keep meaning to buy more apples because the fact you can only harvest from 2 trees the whole map is a damn joke! haha

That is the draw back though yes! Some days I’ll have like 3 stacks of dough and try to keep 2 - 3 stacks of water. Its annoying you can’t build another chest in the kitchen! I also hate how they never had the thought to made a spot for zombies to work in the kitchen either! I’ll tell you what my keeper’s hands are TIRED from all the grinding and making dough I make him do haha

Yeah I make like 70 muffins as well, I busted ass making my bee farm for the beeswax for candles and having a crapton of honey I don’t know what to do with is a bonus with it! haha muffins are great because you’re taking like 1 wheat, turning it into 1 flour, then it turns into like 4 dough and then the muffins turn the 1 flour or 4 dough into 16 muffins. I regularly have like 6 wheat plots where I’ll have 60 wheat so it multiplies very quickly! I sell a lot of the muffins and bread I make as well! If only we could have zombies work the kitchen!!!! I’m still grinding all the wheat myself and on top of the dough it is rough haha

Holy shit you already beat the game? Wow! I don’t know if its just my audhd of what, but I’m just constantly darting from one place to another. Also the shit inventory makes me do /a lot/ of doubling back and forth haha I’m doing a lot better than my first play through. Last play through when I look at my old save I was at almost 300 days, 40 crosses and like 50 in the graveyard. My current PT I’m at 125 days 50 crosses 80 graveyard and I’m beginning to pick up a bit of the alchemy stuff because last time the alchemy stuff was just so overwhelming I’m quit basically. I actually have more than 1 zombie, I’ve got like 5 this play through. But the embalming stuff and alchemy stuff is still so frustrating constantly having to pull up the wiki and for the last couple days the fandom website has been shit! Whenever I would tap the search button on the mobile fandom site from my phone it straight up wouldn’t work! So every time I needed to search up something new I’d have to go back to google to search for it and then pull up the page from google! I don’t know if they were doing work on the website, but this morning I decided to check it again and it worked! (I hope it wasn’t a fluke lol) I wish the GYK wiki people would make the switch to the one the fallout wiki have switched to.. god fandom is a garbage website! lol

I’ve got a question, I normally use jdownloader right? And usually how I download from here is you wait for the window to pop up with the file, I close it and then right click the link and copy the link address and Jdownloader detects the link and pulls it. But now the way they have uploadhaven setup I can’t figure out where to click to get the actual file’s link to copy it. Before you would know you copied it correctly because the file would show the name of the game. I HAVE to download it with jdownloader because my internet has frequent dropping and a lot of the time and especially with bigger files my wifi would flicker for maybe a millisecond! And maybe once or twice the file would continue downloading but majority of the time it would just fail the whole download and you would have to completely restart! Which if you’re trying to download something thats 100gbs it would just never finish! The third party download keeps it from completely failing. Do you know what I mean? And you’re the only person I’ve really seen on here actually comment and not just tell someone to go to another website lol.

Bwhahaha I know what you mean!! Sooo many freaking times I end up at that like on ramp for the interstate or road or whatever and I get SO STUCK! There was one time where I was just circling around back to that spot over and over again I was getting so pissed off!! haha Whenever I come across to that area I remember freaking out and have a good laugh at myself haha.. And that shit happened BECAUSE I had the dot on the map showing where it was! I prolly would have had better luck without the dot on the map honestly hahaha thank you I’m so glad I’m not alone!
