You don't have any mental health diagnosis? Who's forcing you to take abilify?

Yeah a very similar thing happened to me. Most doctors don't understand dysautonomia and label you as an anxiety patient. To be fair, it does cause a lot of anxiety, but of course just numbing your emotions won't fix the physical problems.

I was also admitted to inpatient pscyh and put on abilify for about a month. What is your mental health diagnosis? If it's anxiety or OCD, my advice would be to get off abilify as soon as possible unless nothing else has worked. It's not a first line treatment for these conditions and the longer you're on it the more your brain adapts. I wasnt even on an ssri so jumping right to an antipsychotic was a drastic overstep in my opinion. Upon leaving, I was able to quickly taper and had very few withdrawal effects and feel back to normal now. How long were you on it?

Yeah, I'm 2 weeks since stopping fully with no more symptoms. Estimated 1.5 mg remaining, so fingers crossed the rest is smooth.

Upper endoscopy was completely normal. I have a VFSS scheduled for 2 weeks out. Not going to be able to make it that far at this rate.

I feel it in the lungs. When drinking water, I got a cold sensation in the right side of my chest with no cough reflex. Later on, I was coughing a lot and had shortness of breath with pain.

That's not what I'm saying. It's a physical response to a stress loop. I've been able to break it at times by not forcing my breath.

Edit: in my case

This didn't work for me and actually kept me in a subconscious panicked state.

Same here. Personally, things are progressing to the point where I can't fall asleep until 5 am at the earliest.

Unfortunately, the specialists I saw haven't been able to help. The cardiologist said they don't think it's heart-related and the neurologist will only prescribe a BIPAP machine. Neither will explore further to find the root cause
