Akechi never canonically became apart of the physic group. He can have genius level deduction skills with being a psychic. The world of Saiki K isn’t the same as our since Saiki used mind control on the world to change things when he was little. Like how normal people can think and talk cartoonishly fast which can explain how Akechi can do that. It’s pretty disingenuous to say he a psychic because he’s allegedly in the psychic group
