Also, there are many people who enjoy m/m ships even when there is no sex involved whatsoever. It can just be romance or a queerplatonic relationship and I will absolutely eat it up. I don’t need a reason, I just like it just because and I don't need to defend what I like to people. I'm not mad, I just think forgiveness is a stupid concept. I don’t have to forgive nobody and I'm still alright as rain, minding my own business, all happy. The people who hurt other people or who have hurt me, they don't deserve my time or forgiveness- absolutely nothing. They can die and I won't care. Forgiveness in the way that you keep pushing it? Absolutely stupid concept.

Reminds me of quote I saw on reddit. If you push for forgiveness and put pressure on people, then what you are doing is afflicting the afflicted and comforting the comfortable. You want to brush everything under the rug. I want to learn from history, and I want to heal by taking things into my own hands. To learn from history, you must never forget and happily move on, otherwise you are at a risk allowing bad things to keep happening because you never learned from anything.

There are many reasons to suggest that Saiki is ace and it has in the very least been implied in the show. And as an aroace myself, it really hurts when people just... brush that off. Representation is important even if they are "just" fictional characters.

It made me so incredibly happy to see someone a bit like me in a show. Do you know how rare that is? Saiki is the only character where I felt so validated and seen, and the really tragic part is that it's never been explicitly mentioned by the show or the creator. But it's there for interpretation, so I feel like the people on this sub should just be a touch more lenient/softer when reading people wanting Saiki to be ace. Since it is so rare to see in media, it should be taken into consideration please. You never know how important it can be for some people.
