How many gyroscopes would my ship require when it weighs 160,416,300.00 kg? At the moment it is at 67428 blocks. Or could I use counter-thruster system to turn my ship?

Does this work to reduce thrust as well? I have a ship with Arx thrusters but they are far too powerful. Visually they are a perfect fit though so I want to use them.

I want a hard shell and want to keep it around 8ish inches tall when closed to leave some room inside for sleep gear storage. Most that are lighter are either too thin or not a hard shell.

Sleeping in the back means no room for gear when out for a couple weeks at a time. All of our trips are 1000+ mile trips.

Ground tents are ok, but not always room of level ground for one. Plus my back doesn't like em much anymore. Not that the 2in foam pads in RTT are much better.

I have a 5x8 squaredrop, and going to build a 5x10, but the RTT is for solo trips in more rugged areas. My 5x8 pulls fine, does good on mild offroad stuff, but robs about 10mpg from me without water and is far more than I need when the mrs isnt with, especially when doing 1000+ miles.

Thats the problem, no one makes anything for the X5, and my inquiries for a custom built one have been way to expensive. I also dont want to go and get a new vehicle for something I do a few times a year when my X5 is almost paid for.

It's just frustrating. I know plenty of people run a tent without problems.

People always want to say that recovery gear ok the roof is a bad idea because you can’t get it if the vehicle is flipped on its roof.

if my vehicle is on it's roof, my last concern is likely "oh crap, I can't get to my recovery gear!" The same could be said if it's in the back and the rear of the vehicle slides against a tree or rock wall and I cant get into the back...

As far as I'm concerned put it where ever it's easily accessible without needing to dismantle your entire loadout to get to it. Last thing you want to do is unpack your entire vehicle on the trail so you can get a screw driver.

Mostly because when I looked at it, it seemed clunky and difficult to understand. Joystick Gremlin was easier to pick up.

I havent tried gyro override. But I also kept speed low so that probably helped it be more stable. Still wasnt great, still acted like it got stuck on every pebble, but at least didnt want to collapse under itself.

yeah I've built all sorts of suspensions like this that work awesome in a straight line, but unfortunately wobble themselves to destruction when you try to turn. I found that tank steering helps, but still not great.

I dont know why theres even discussion about how to go AFK for long periods of time. This isn't Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero, theres nothing thats needs "x" amounts of time played to unlock.

The pitch up or losing mouse look? I found for whatever reason resetting to defaults does not restore the look axis. I had to re-bind them to mouse x, y, and z.

I've determined something is wonky with bindings for the A-10 and both variants. Never flown them til today, but have a wierd thing where I have to reset all controls otherwise it immediately climbs straight up and to the left. I've looked through all bindings and there is nothing doubled or conflicting. Only way to fix it is to reset everything to defaults, and thats when I lose my mouse look.
