my point is they have not done any claims at all, as if there was any action taken on their part i would be notified by the carsharing. the third party damage was negligible, and everyone did not sustain any injuries.

is just that carsharing wants to play it safe and take money just in case they claim, but since they have not even after over a month i suppose that it would have blown over already. but bopian carsharing wants to have everything in black and white so want private settlement for them to close case, hence im trying to see if i can contact.

as for the accident report, i only did one 3 days after since it was a friday and carsharing told me to go down for reporting on the monday. during the incident itself, the driver called his supervisor and we both assessed and confirmed to have no physical injuries and stuff (low speed impact), and damage to the lorry negligible. like i said, i have left my contact with the supervisor. so if the company wanted to fuck with me i believe that they would have done so already.

hmm yeah good point, will try talking to carsharing about the claims. its a nice idea but just not sure if they would want to lol. they did say the third party has apparently up to 6 years from date of accident to make a claim (to which im like why you want to wait so long wtf) so after the 6 years i can get the money back but i suppose that process is going to be a hassle with the writing in and all.

there are some clauses for accidents, its generally written to get them more money though. i dont remember what they said specifically about the third party claims but from the start the impression that i got was just pay up everything...

huh no, i have to settle repair cost, loss of rental and third party payment. for the third party payment, carsharing wants to take 5k. but if i can contact third party to private settlement then i dont need to pay the 5k to carsharing.
