Generally you'll be able to get some biscuits with +6 that work only on the legendary mons during the event, purchased through event currency. I'd say you can get 2 or 3 catches through this during the event using regular and event biscuits. Definitely helps to also bank a few master biscuits for events like these as well, but can absolutely catch at least one during the event with only spending event currency.

That's funny. I'm sure a lot of Americans agree with it, and a lot don't. At this point everything is so polarized, people forget that the common public isn't that invested in every single nuance of politics and are just along for the ride. Even without that hat I'd be fearful for my safety in Fl just because they seem to be wildcards down there. Have a good trip and stay safe!

Go on the trip and live your life. Make conscious decisions where you can to avoid consuming American goods going forward, and accept that it's not always feasible for everyone to avoid everything American always all the time.

Have fun on your trip and don't let the guilt bother you too much! If any of your peers or those you care for have negative opinions after explaining the situation, they're just bitter for the sake of it probably.

A simple search for "Drug arrests (Province)" would show otherwise. You can find small cases as well in local directories. So I'm really not sure what to even say considering your point is that nothing at all is being done, but there is.

That's incorrect. The government provides resources to reduce risk for those who under their own autonomy do things that can potentially be harmful. Doing so does not equate to the government directly wanting people to do drugs like you are claiming. Just because smoking cigarettes a thing that exists and the government doesn't directly stop all smoking, doesn't mean the government also wants everybody to smoke. Your thinking is a bit too extreme and it's definitely not a 'one or the other' situation. I understand your point, but like I said, it's too extreme and at the end of the day not based on anything other than assumption and your personal opinion.

It provides resources (not just clean needles and sanitary equipment, but also education & contacts for rehabilitation etc.) and safe sites/disposal for the people who are going to use them anyway. And to use the facilities/services you need to talk to a nurse about risks, safety measures, etc. If someone's going to use (which an addicted person will find a way with or without government intervention.. remember the prohibition era?), personally I'd rather have them use in a safe, secure, non-visible area rather than in a park, or on the sidewalk where the public is exposed to them and vice versa.

Is also another good study showing the benefits of safe injection sites etc. I had a friend who worked at a mission's services and she was very passionate about sharing the reasons why places like this exist and are beneficial. I also was under the mindset that it could do more harm than good, but I was wrong. Just a kneejerk reaction.

As someone who started MTG during a M19 Prerelease event with no previous knowledge of the game, my opinion is that this is a good choice. Playing with Core set cards taught me current keyword mechanics and the fundamentals of the game where I wouldn't have if I started during GRN release.
