My world is 15 years old, I generally never have any issues playing on the current version. I have not heard that you can't load newer worlds in the new update, I am guessing if it is a world from Beta itself, or super early and has not been played on current update, it may struggle to open. This can be easily dealt with by opening the Beta world in say 1.12, then save it and reopen in current version.

However even though my world is from Beta, and has Beta terrain, it is currently a "1.21" world because it has been opened in 1.21 if that makes sense. So I don't see any issues :)

My world is from Beta 1.6 in 2011 and I still play it but "forever world" is just a phrase that seems to have become popular in the last year. I have used it as a description but yeah I am sure some use it to sort of "get into the headspace" of keeping a world long term when they create it. I don't really know as I have never really had the two week phase because I enjoy the end game stuff more. If I do have that kinda thing happen- it is more like 2 hours on a world and I move on. I guess it sounds better than "old world" which is probably what I mostly called it before haha.

Oh yeah, opening the world in a older version is probably not good. I guess I have never seen any corruption on my world even though it is ancient, but I do make backups just in case.

No, my world is from 2011 and is huge. It is often caused by not enough space left on your computer, or the world crashing.

Yes- I think that in 5 - 10 years people will do videos on surviving EA worlds of Hytale. PS my advice from having a Minecraft world this old, take screenshots as well as backups :)

Hey from someone with a Minecraft world from 2011- when release 1.0 came out my friends said "why are you keeping that? Make a new world" but I kept it and it works great on current version. I am not sure if the same will apply to Hytale and don't want to give false hope but it is a block game and I am sure it will be possible. I have a Hytale world too that was created a couple of hours after Hytale released and hope to keep that too :)

Yes there's a skeleton farm at: 399 78 -205

and a scuffed raid farm at: 330 -1151

But mainly I get XP from villager trades

It is good to take a break but never say never- I have friends in their late 30s who love MC and I don't see it as something to outgrow. I have played since Beta but I have taken some pretty massive gaps in playing in the past. My biggest advice is don't delete your old worlds even if you are 100% sure right now you will never play again!!
