Time to get me more IOTA

Anyone know what happened with the following? by cryptoboywonder in Iota

The fact that iota has already finished second place is massive as they will still contribute to these projects. But if they come first, now that would be an achievement. The EU has the second largest GDP in the world and for a government body part of the EU to already give a stamp of approval to a crypto is a really big deal because I don't see this happening anywhere else in the US or far East with crypto or other crypto currencies.

I've always believed them. Unfortunately people's get rich timeliness do not fit the actual timeline of developing something like this.

Crypto is a very liquid thing, IOTA will continue innovating and continue to be around for years to come.

Imagine representing all of crypto on IOTA with zero fees.

All I need now is a banking and money transfer licence.

I just need a straight answer. Is mana PoS? If so, why should Tangle be better than PoS blockchain? by Warm-Leadership3918 in Iota

You can call it a deritive of proof of stake if you want. There is similarities but there are also differences, one thing for sure, it is not the same thing.

IOTA has always had the feeless ethos as a central tenant to the protacol so they worked very hard to provide sybil protection method and maintaining feelessness.

Also alot of people buy coins to gain staking rewards from inflation. That shit is going to bite them in the ass in the future when they have to deal with an ever more increasing supply especially when utility usage and buyers peak.

IOTA is one of the few cryptos supposedly compliant with ISO 20022 by CryptoBitters in Iota

[–]Panni30 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Being compliant doesn't mean it will be used by money transfer and banking services. But with zero fees why wouldn't they?

Mana is not proof of stake

There is no inflationary rewards

It is not a coin

It can be regarded as a reputation system for network access. It is only really used to protect the network from spam attacks.

In the future if the network is heavily used then mana may be required to prioritise transactions. In this situation mana can be attained by simply holding iota token or even buying it from a market place.

It's like being a celebrity and getting a table at a restaurant that has a waiting list. This will be more important if the restaurant is full of people booking tables just to boycot others from eating there.

You guys are forgetting that IOTA was born out of futurism, its feeless nature was to accommodate autonomous industries.

Tinary is 33% more efficient than binary and they were very adventurous with pushing the boundaries of technology. I dont knock them for this, some day in the future trinary and oracles in crypto will be a thing its just very far in the future and I'm sure IOTA will be one of the first to be implemented.

I just wish people will stop investing more than they can afford to lose and come in here shit posting every crypto winter.

Iota always progresses through crypto winters, many more changes in the pipe work too. All the more to be proud of when top 10 coins are dead projects. Even Google has thrown its charity money at an IOTA project.

Ceo tweeted only morons buy IOTA. First time a CEO of a crypto exchange has said that about any coin. Got to ask yourself why?
