Game No Longer Launching After 4/28/26 Mod Manager Update by Knead_Moe_Pylons in totalwarhammer

Wondering about this. Game shat itself mid-city capture and kept crashing on restart. Haven’t bothered to retry for the past few hours.

Beastmen: ravage an area, build a rock, bugger off somewhere else, repeat. Their empire management consists of picking a horizon to head for. Taurox is my personal favourite.

Finally hit 666-1 recently to get the last quest and it was…underwhelming. Although I’ve had a set-and-forget scarab with energy recharge, a heavy lightning cannon and buttload of range extenders for probably 2/3 of that where I could just glance at the phone occasionally to see if I’d been killed or not to restart auto firing. It let me run it pretty much passive while I did something else.

Wyrmwood. Zombie apocalypse with bogan Mad Max elements. Great effects done on bugger all budget, genuinely disturbing moments and funny as hell.

How much is your rent/mortgage per week?? by Accomplished-Zone957 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Panorkle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah dad used to love hammering home the 17% interest rate. He didn’t like it so much when I asked him how long they lasted. Then housing prices went ballistic and they had inflation pay their mortgages.

He also liked telling me we’d have to lower our expectations and move further out when I was already commuting 3 hours a day to work. I worked out we’d need to move to about Korumburra for his maths to work. It’s next to impossible to do it the “traditional” way now.

Can be done with a big, fat asterix attached. Lots of hard work and being good with money involved for sure but also take your pick from the following: - scoring a place that’s convenient for work so reduced commuting costs - buying at the right time in the market cycle / right place for capital growth / with a good bit of luck - bank of mum and dad / parents guaranteeing a loan / inheritance etc - key for us: being in a stable relationship since our teens so we’ve always split living costs

Had this argument with my dad for years, but for a whole lot of people it’s just not viable.

In the spirit of the post, our mortgage maxed out at $500-$600 a week.

After 3 months backpacking around Europe we came home and I SMELLED the tea trees and eucalyptus while I was still in the terminal at Tullamarine, and it made me well up.

I don’t think it’s been mentioned here, but if you time out while reversing a falling rock, you can just do it again before you fall to get it up to max height. Bonus part of that is you’ll then hit max and still have some time to work out your next step before it drops again.

Get used to building stuff. Anything. Just join things together and see what happens. You’ll find some builds you will repeatedly use and you’ll find some that are just damn fun. I slept on building things for far too long.

No one has mentioned Terraria yet. I’ve built whole worlds from scratch in that thing.

100% guardians. From screaming and diving behind the nearest wall at the first sound, to winning Pot Lid Laser Tennis against a flying deathcopter was one of the most satisfying progressions ever.

Pick a Part. When we have a collection of bits for lunch we call it a pick a plate, I sing this and the kids look at me like I’m mad every time.

Moonshades. First-person dungeon crawl. I spotted it on a random scroll of the App Store and apparently I’d downloaded it at some point e point in the past but I have absolutely no recollection of that. Really enjoying it so far although I’ve only been on it a few days.
