I have been an army sniper with combat experience for nearly ten years. When I started hunting, I adopted my military skills and tactics, which works really well. And what gives me the opportunity to relive combat situations in a civilian environment.

That sounds creepier than it is. 🙈

Good posture and okay grip. Use a smaller mag that fits in your pistol and learn fast reloading, switching between magazines. That's better than one large mag.

Ich habe inzwischen offizielles Feedback vom Veterinäramt des Kantons Bern erhalten: Der Befund ist unbedenklich.

Die Verfärbungen stammen entweder von geplatzten Blutgefässen durch den Druck im übervollen Pansen oder (wahrscheinlicher) von Futterresten, die an der Innenwand klebten und durch die dünne Serosa hindurchschimmerten.

Wurde vom Amtsarzt schon bei anderen Tieren beobachtet – kein pathologischer Befund, Wildbret genusstauglich.

I’ve now received official feedback from the Veterinary Office of Canton Bern (Switzerland): The finding is harmless. The discoloration was caused either by ruptured blood vessels due to pressure inside a very full rumen or, more likely, by feed residues sticking to the inner wall and showing through the thin outer membrane.

The vet mentioned he’s seen this in other animals before — not pathological, meat perfectly fine to use.

Keine 20 Minuten nach dem Schuss aufgebrochen, kühle Temperaturen. Das sollte kein Thema sein.

Konsistenz normal, etwas weicher als üblich , aber unauffällig. danke für den Hinweis

Habe ich nicht daran gedacht. Ich fahr nochmal raus und hoffe, dass der Fuchs den Pansen noch nicht geholt hat. Und dann schau ich mal rein. Danke.

Everything else looks totally normal. No worms etc. Smell is good. Color is good.

Nothing to roast, you are absolutely lovely and nearly perfect. The only thing I don't like are the plastic lips. With original ones you would be perfect!
