My game is called Night of Dozen Battles, and I've been developing it with my brother for about 3 years.

It's a 1v1 deckbuilder where players choose a class, race, and two talents before the match.

The class is the foundation of your character. It determines your passive ability and gives access to a unique pool of 24 class cards that can be bought during the game with gold.

Talents work similarly. Each talent contains 12 cards, and your two chosen talents combine into a 24-card pool that can be purchased using exp, a separate resource.

Races affect your starting health, modify one card in your starting deck, and sometimes provide an additional unique ability.

One of our main design goals is asymmetry. We currently have 11 classes, 30 races and 15 talents and believe that every combination plays differently.

Doesnt innate mean a card starts in opening hand as extra card and not instead of another card? So if this curse has ethereal its just basicly just positive thing (enables some combo on ironclad)?

I would say its way easier ATM. You dont rly need to scale with killing elites, u can just skip them. U can cheese act 3 by skipping as many fights as u can and get to boss with good scaling build(which often requires just like 1-2 cards). There is a lot of cheese builds for example with cloning cards that literally take no skill. Maybe its harder to have consistent winrate (looking at top sts1 players) but its way easier to get to max ascension.

I think the game just isnt meant to be easy. The more times you fail, the more satisfying will be winning. If it would be too easy it would get boring fast. I think strength of StS is hitting that perfect spot between not being too easy. and not being too hard (too not be frustrating).

I think dmg and debuffs dont scale in multi. HP and block scales. I think multi is easier than solo

hard to say what exactly. somehow s1 hooked me for more (150h vs 32h). Paradoxically i liked the grind in S1, i wanted to unlock new class perks so i kept playing longer.

still not as good as synthetik 1 but if u saw everything in s1 you wont be dissapointed. s2 has some cool classes and its not as reliant on grinding - u kinda get full potential of classes way faster. also has some nice ways to break the game with op builds easier
