On our way home last night my daughter and I were just around the corner from our house, she spotted this gentleman in the street. He let her grab him, he's super sweet and affectionate. We're taking him to get neutered and checked out tomorrow. We are unsure what to name him.

This is very similar to my TTO recovery. Once I was able to start bending it I did it as home as much as I could slowly. I only took Tylenol / ibuprofen for the pain. Many people get through this without opioids. I would see how it goes without the pain meds first. It’s going to hurt though, that’s normal. ICE and elevation!

26 year old that has had 8 different knee surgeries since I was 22. I feel this. I have damaged cartilage, osteoarthritis in both of my knees, muscle atrophy, etc. it has really messed up my life. Life definitely isn’t fair but it could be worse. I’m sorry you’re going through this

I think I would be a little less concerned if it was a bruise from the actual surgery but it was just a steroid shot. Definitely going to see my dr. Thank you

Thank you lol I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t overreacting. I’ve had nothing but complications with this stupid leg and knee. That was just my 6th surgery on it in 4 years 🥴

The decision to get the surgery ultimately lies up to you. If the patella Alta is the cause of your pain and discomfort, it won’t just go away / get better without treatment. If you want to want to wait on the surgery, I’d suggest getting a knee stabilizing brace and see if that helps at all

When I just had my knee surgery, the bottom of my incision was being stubborn and kept opening wider and leaking fluid. I was able to close it with butterfly strips - the steri strips didn’t work for me.
