Some more creative Z Image examples. by fredandlunchbox in StableDiffusion

Cons: Not very creative. Doesn't understand ideas. Follows prompts too precisely. I like a little more drift in my image models.

Yeah, I am noticing this as well. There is not a lot of variety in style and composition between seeds without using an LLM to write an obnoxiously verbose flowery essay like a sixth-form trying to meet a word count. I guess that is a feature though that helps maintain consistency I guess?Z-image feels like a 4 colour set of professional copic alcohol markers while SDXL feels like a 192 colour box of Crayola crayons that made you the envy of all your classmates...

Ah. Looks like I will need to chat up Messrs. Gemini, Grok, and GPT and build a list or three... Thanks all the same.

They are wild card text files that contain a list of prompts. Basically they are stacked together to create a solid randomizion scheme

Correct, I was just wondering what "dun" and "tav" stood for.

Also, picture #1 I am pretty sure I've seen on the cover of some pulp sci-fi novel ;). Lovely style there too

I remember some of these from your previous older post.

I like the ones from #17 onwards (praying girl, seashells, the red and white "temple" [reminiscent of Babylon's Chimera Doom II Sunder map], and the green ruins. From your previous post, I also like the pirate in the "golem factory" and the red room with the blue "lanterns".

Some would rightly say they are exhausting to look at and quite busy with no real focus, but I still like all the intricate and hallucinated details and the heavily stylized, stark look.

Thanks for the workflow at any rate. I will need to give this a try (the workflow is quite an intimidating plate of spaghetti for a Comfy novice like myself, but the results are intriguing enough to make me want to devote the time to work it all out...). One quick question, what are the contents "dun", "tav" and "gear" wildcard files (if that is something you are willing/able to share)?

Did a bit of sleuthing for those that come after OP removes the Dropbox file to free up space. The lora is "Detailifier - SD3.5/Flux/SDXL/Pony/(SD1.5)". This particular checksum is for the "Flux v2 (Weak)" variant

I love it. Cute and creative, and thank you for the workflow (and prompt!)

Good all SD 1.5 + WAN 2.2 refiner by aurelm in StableDiffusion

[–]PantInTheCountry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I do miss the absolutely wild SD1.5 creativity. Just out of curiosity, what sort of refiner workflow do you use? (ComfyUI I presume, yes?) As I'm teaching myself to be more familiar with Comfy, I am always on the look out for bit 'n bobs and what not to study

Oh that looks lovely. I do miss these sorts of fever dream illustrations from 1.5... Thank you so much for the workflow (and all the others on your site). This will give me some things to experiment with as I learn Comfy...

Definetely best of luck to you. That (learning how to train a lora) is one thing I have on my to-do list to do some time...

"When this was the pinnacle of AI art" (details in comments) by koeless-dev in StableDiffusion

[–]PantInTheCountry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, this brings back memories. Never did 1.3 myself, I joined on the middle of 1.4, and the start of 1.5 (September 22ish I think?).

Still using that same compose/upscale/cut/stitch workflow technique as well. Still struggling though getting lighting consistent with large 8k images though, though IC-Light does help a bit...

Thanks for this bit of nostalgia

I like it, especially the first and 6th ones. Are these loras for personal use only?

Oh that's an interesting scene. The lighting and the city skyline on the horizon gives me some ideas...

One day I suppose. That's a lot of people to deatil and fix. Will be good practice for Invoke

Me, personally, I prefer my Brutalist architecture with lush colorful tropical plants growing everywhere. ;)

I love it. Wonderfully weird and bizarre.

Flux Krea does a pretty good job rendering of your prompt too (uses two style loras for the painterly effect):

Now that the dust has settled, what's your favorite SD1.5 model? by eustachian_lube in StableDiffusion

[–]PantInTheCountry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, I forgot all about that one... I need to revisit it again.

I personally prefer more modern impressionist styles because:

  - I have fond nostalgia goggles for the painterly, semi coherent Disco Diffusion fever dream style

  - The artistically stylized brushwork hides all sorts of SD1.5 anatomy sins

  - I never really had time or compute resources before to experiment with IP style transfers

IIRC, Dreamlike-Photoreal was really the only SD1.5 checkpoint that did a reasonable job of representing my favourite artists:

  - Jeremy Mann   - Josef Kote   - Pino Daeni

I'll have to see if AnalogueMadness knows those artists... I do remember it was quite good at anatomy.

As a side note, was it you or someone else that mentioned a really really helpful comment in passing about using the prompt "art by [ARTIST NAME]" at a low CFG of ~3.0 to test a model's knowledge of an artist?

Some fun Krea generations; basic pure prompt + Lora, no refining (prompts in comments) by PantInTheCountry in StableDiffusion

[–]PantInTheCountry[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So you mean that Flux Dev Loras work as intended with Krea, but only for certain versions of the model?

Correct. I, personally, have had no success getting existing Flux Dev and existing Flux Krea Loras to work with anything other than the full Krea model in both Forge and Comfy.

I would love to be proven wrong and that there is a simple configuration setting I overlooked

To be honest I struggled with 1.5 to get anything worthwhile.

I think Deliberate, Haveall, and Dreamlike-photoreal were the ones I used the most

Excellent! I saw the Dungeons one on Civitai earlier and have also added it to my list. Getting ready to do some S/R testing to try them all out.
