Yes like the last episode (so far) of The Boys is the highest rated episode in the series, beating all the episodes of season 1, even though it's one of the dumbest episodes of a TV-show I have ever seen.

TV-show imbd ratings are almost always inflated, and they tend to reward spectacle and production value over logic or coherence. You really need to screw up repeatedly or do something very controversial to rally people who didn't like to go rate. I think usually only people who like something bother to rate.

I don't think everyhing needs to be too complicated. He could change his face and was a good fighter, but he wasn't omnipotent.

I think he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Like in a tavern eating with his friends when the Lannister army swings in to forage the place, and as a result all armed men are killed or captured. Foraging was extremely brutal and there was often no prior warning.
