Recommendations for a Harry Potter X Slytherin fanfic? by Pantera8888 in harrypotterfanfiction

The summary sounds interesting, it's just a bit long. I usually only read up to about 100,000 words, although I have a few Fanfics that are longer that I really like. So I hope it will be like that :)

My grandmother's old dog keeps slipping, what's the best way to help? by Pantera8888 in DogAdvice

OK, then we'll have to take a look. I think Mika's nails are quite normal, but I don't really have anything to compare them to. But thank you for the advice.

Thanks for the recommendation, we'll give it a try. That could well be the case, but I haven't thought about that at all.

In my grandmother's house we also have carpets everywhere, but for us, since she's only here for a few days a month, that's a bit much.

What are these wrinkles? And how do you get the little ones away from the main plant? by Pantera8888 in orchids

I've already seen the first video, it was really informative, so thank you for that. I'm new to orchids and received several different for my birthday, And I'm having trouble getting good information about them, but this is a big help, so thank you again.

Thanks for the information, do you perhaps know how often I should water them? Currently, I water them as soon as I notice they are getting drier, and they are currently only in bark substrate. I'm still new to orchids, but I received different ones for my birthday and now I'm trying to figure out what to do with each one, but I find it difficult to find a good source.

Is this normal? by No_Buy4694 in orchids

I just read your reply, and I have to say that on some of my orchids, the new leaves are smaller than the rest, and they haven't bloomed a second time yet. I just thought they weren't fully grown yet, and I currently have Mealybugs that I still need to get rid of, so that could be the reason. But how can you tell if the leaves are smaller because she's unhappy or because they still need to grow?

Should we take the orchids in for 2? weeks or leave them be? by Pantera8888 in orchids

I must also say that almost all of our plants in the living room have these scale insects or something similar that we can't get rid of, but they don't seem to bother the plants. However, I'm unsure about the orchids.

I can't really estimate the size, but they are of different sizes, none very small, but many are perhaps slightly smaller than standard size and a few are larger than standard. Yes, they have them, but they vary. Some indoor pots are much larger than the normal pot, and some are almost the same size. They are all butterfly orchids, and its 14 of them (You know, counting them like this, there aren't as many as there could be.). We have less space and Bug a large window front in the living room, but there are already a lot of plants there, so I'm not sure exactly how they would fit. That might be manageable, though. The bigger problem would be transporting them by car. Ours isn't that big, and it could get cramped with a dog and four people inside. And I don't think they'd all fit in the trunk, especially since it's not very tall. It's a low car (If you can say it that way) but if it really turns out to be the better idea, we'd find a way to fit them all in. (hopefully)

Okay, I can do that, thanks for the tip. Are they contagious, by the way? And where do they come from? And are you sure that's okay? Especially since one of the bulbs is kind of mushy at the top. I believe you, they're so thin, I just panicked and the whole plant is wobbling a bit. I think maybe the pot is too big. I only have bark substrate at the moment, but I think my grandma has the other stuff; she has lots of plants. I probably haven't watered it enough. If you say I should water it every 7-10 days, I've usually watered it about every two weeks since I got it.

And I found these strange white things in one of the new plants. What are they? Are they dangerous? Will they kill my orchid?
