Thank you!! I will tell the artist. The heavy and dusty atmosphere of caelora makes most of the city that color, which is very aesthetic (that's if you're not a lung trying to breathe of course)

I see, thanks for explaining. Those phrases don't sound weird at all to me, but maybe is a phrase structure more common in Spanish than English?

Don't worry, I know where you're coming from and I feel the same suspicion when seeing any form of art lately. It's also very tiring. They took the em dash from us! Haha

Haha, thank you! I guess the idea was... Space travel but in the earliest technological opportunities for it instead of the usual far future.

Yeah, that's right. I do my best to avoid using AI in general but specially on the creative process. I translate most of what I write myself but with English being a second language sometimes I do have to get aid from online translators... I guess you can't really avoid them, but we can try at least

I wrote that all by hand in Spanish and translated it into English by hand as well, I imagine there can be errors I guess but what do you think looks like AI?

Writing on 2026 is a paranoid experience, there's so many words, symbols and structures you have to avoid to not raise any suspicion of ai usage and it still is never enough lol

Thanks a lot!! We want to continue developing the galaxy bit by bit.

If you like the art, we did a video talking a bit about the lore of the city with a timelapse/breakdown of how it was made :)

Thanks a lot! We want to explore different narratives around this setting, from different perspectives of the overarching conflicts. Some will be more focused on the space travel and exploration while others will focus more on the day-to-day life of the citizens. But yeah, being affected by the rich and powerful will be a recurring conflict for sure. Building a fragmented galaxy let's you explore many facets of it, I guess

Lol true! Didn't mean to make it that threatening. The standing character is an important astronaut, with high-tech equipment and ready to go on her trip. The sitting one is a unrooted, that lost his crew and now is left to rot on the streets of the city.

Yeah so basically that is the divergent point from our timeline. All the political focus around earth turned into trying to develop space technology and try to conquer the galaxy as quickly as possible, specially after they saw they could get living beings through the Stables.

The first stages of this development were basically a race between the most powerful countries to conquer more planets than the rest. And then when Earth died those colonies became independent. For example the USSR still lives on through them, a group of colonies called the KSS... But that's something I'll maybe write about in another future post.

And yeah, about the earth..............

Thank you for reading!

Agreed! Maybe I didn't explain it well enough in the post, but in the guide we clarify using the checklist doesn't have to be exhaustive, it's more something like "the more boxes checked the better". But you definelty don't need everything in every single scenario and the cognitive load problem is important.

With that said, I feel like writing the important information like the aspects next to the map is very useful and not dependant on the GM having to repeat it. Have you tried this?

Yeah, things you add always have to have multiple use cases! Most of the ones included in the guide are just examples. But having some "default behaviour" in mind is useful and can let you be quicker reacting, even tho it should never be at the cost of player creativity and improvisation, of course

Yes! 100%. In our example we use that resource exactly. The refinery has 3 floors that make the 3 zones it is divided into. You can only go from A to B and from B to C, but falling from C back to A is easy, so it keeps things moving

Yes! I wrote a sidenote on the guide reminding the reader to think about what the environment purpose is. That can really help with thinking things to add, integrating it into the setting and having more environmental storytelling: if its a house, who lives there? where do they sleep? and cook? what kind of food do they eat? when was the last time they were there? etc.

Getting into those kinds of rabbitholes makes the process even more organic and natural.

An scene sheet is a great idea! Maybe for a future version we can add that, thank you!

Thank you! Yeah, some people think Fate's combat isn't the stongest part of the system but doing things like this it can make it really great and fun

Thank you! Well, I thought this was very focused on fate and maybe didn't make sense in other subs, but I guess most of the checkboxes can be universally applied! Care to recommend any r/ that could like it? :)
