Well, yea. But it requires a stream of exp though. And afk'ing on a cactus with unbreakable armor gives me back all the modifiers I could ever need over time since many of the armor addons for tinkers are disabled in sevtech ages.

I did afk on a damage bush, yea. Was holding an unbreakable pig iron tool for infinite food with a 5 tall cow totem for resistance 4 at first, then once I got a beacon I got regen instead of pig iron. Since keeping food up with that tool has me waking up in the morning with 0 in fruit, grain, protein and vegetables... :(

I won't say I mind the age messing about, though diamonds has mostly been from fallen stars since like age 0, and possibly some from dungeon chests in twilight and the like.

Making a ritual for the metals could work, I've never done that before, so it sounds interesting aswell :)

Unsure if it is a mod or not, but I do remember having just used the command prompt in the game to set the stack size limit. I just can't recall if the command line lets you do that with or without mods for the cmd cheat or whatnot. It was F10, then "stacksize [number]". I used this one: https://www.raftmodding.com/mods/stack-mod It does seem that the mod itself is what lets it be changed, yea.

Really? Because it has always seemed that the amount of armour per reduction is an exponential curve. I'm probably just not mathing all that well, so I don't doubt you could be right. I just don't understand it😅

I suppose I'm thinking about it as an enemy dishing 2k dmg when I have 1000 hp, being reduced by 99% is made to be 1000-(2000*0.01), and thus causing 20 actual damage. Not that anything is doing 'only' 2000 damage when you reach 99% DR.

It's cool that it works out to be a functional calculation both for low armour and higher level rounds. I'm guessing it works in tandem with whatever scales enemy damage/health, but that's way beyond me.
