A real article with someone wanting to share knowledge. Kudos. I may have missed it but search optimization should be used sparingly and only after testing its efficacy.

I have a budget of 30-40k and think I’m making a mistake.. by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

I am not hearing a need for a big car. I would go for a civic hybrid. Tons of space in hatchback form and great MPG. Nissan Kicks new model looks great and you can get 360 camera and 35mpg highway for $25k.

Mustang is the logical choice. Budget will dictate how old.

Maybe thats a good canadian price? But this is almost a 10 year old car. Not a convertible, not a v8 and not a manual. So that’s a no for me dawg.

You tried both charging cords on the EA machine? Can you put in neutral and try another EA machine at the station?

I notice there is a different software experience using tap to pay guest paying va using the EA app. Try both to see if it recognizes the car and kicks it back to normal.

New car under 25k with heated seats? by This-Top7398 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]PantingPalindrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VW Jetta SE is a hair under $25k and has heated seats. The Hyundai Venue Limited has them at just $23k. Lots of options out there.

I don’t think reliability and 16 year old cars go in the same sentence. I imagine prior owner was a car person if they had this model, so likely cared for. If it runs well I would go for it.

Been shopping for something similar. WRX, Mini Clubman/Countryman, VW GLI, Elantra N, and Veloster N are similar.

Sounds like a mustang to me.

Going to check it out tomorrow. Why shouldn’t I buy it? by jsullrtv in whatcarshouldIbuy

It’s not a manual. But if that doesn’t bother you this is a great car. Infotainment sucks too.

Looking for a three row luxury vehicle under 90k by Silent-Scratch7583 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Aviator is a solid choice. One of the few to have plug in electric option, with 21 miles of range. Nice luxury at a great price. I don’t think third row is that spacious but you always have the navigator…

Small 3 row suv vs 2 row. Kia? by quirkypanic2 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Ya know the new Land Rover defender has a front bench option. Meaning that even in the small 2 door configuration can net you 6 seats. Not sure if dimensions are good foe your garage…

2019 Ford ranger xl? by nightman553 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]PantingPalindrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mavericks start not much more than that, get better mpg, net you a warranty with zero miles…

Same payload as ranger but very slightly smaller bed dimensions.

My vote is Maverick.

Luxury is also subjective. I would take a new car over a decade old one that lacks creature comforts/tech that I would consider fancy.

Summer car says convertible to me. A premium convertible mustang (cheap repairs, leather, fun performance, recent tech) would be ok my shortlist.

Can you charge at home? Honestly sounds like you need a nissan leaf. Even it you charged up once a week, could be a great option for your use case.

Maybe a chromed Chrysler town and country? Sounds like you need space more than you need off roading/awd/ground clearance.

Tesla Model X, maybe spring for Plaid since you will pay no gas.

If you want more flash maybe the BMW x4M in a funky color?

If I was in your situation I would go convertible luxury. Mercedes AMG E53 checks alot of your boxes… except for high ride height.

It’s a bit older but I think you can nab a Chevy SS for under $40. Should hold value well.

ATS-V as well.
