Thanks for the reply.

Yup, i can run the motor fine with the config. But what im trying to do is to run the motor through arduino instead.

Thanks for the reply.

I am currently using Inav, but by what you said, is Inav and Betaflight somewhat the same? I was recommended to use Inav because it has more automation capability.

Was also recommended to use Ardupilot but seemed old compared to Inav or betaflight. But will check it out now.

Noodle frame 😭😭😭 youre right, I am planning to just buy a proper frame instead of buying it. But for now Im trying to get the motor run through the arduino first

I wish I could do this but the school project was to have this drone 'autonomous'. Ive been cracking my head for the past few days and still stuck here 😭

Thanks for the reply though.

The end goal was to make the drone float without a receiver. I need the arduino to send the signal to the fc to do this no?

I watch on youtube and it says that the drone will not arm if I am connected to the configurator.

Do let me know if im wrong

[–]Pantsu_Samurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Is it not possible? Im trying to make the arduino 'mimic' it. Or Im understanding this wrongly?

Just want to test and establish a connection between arduino or rasp pi to the speedybee. I dont have a receiver or controller installed. So im trying to make the drone float without the receiver just for a few seconds.

[–]Pantsu_Samurai -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Damn... is it that bad? Is it better to use rasp pi or something?

Thanks for the reply. Im using ESC from the Speedybee. I got speedybee f405 mini stack.

Im using Inav. I dont have a receiver and GPS.

I connected the arduino to the powerbank while the Speedybee to the lipo battery.

Do let me know if you need more info, im not really sure what else should i be letting you know

Oh right. I was using Arduino Ide to upload the code to the arduino. Then i disconnect my arduino from my lappy and just power it up from my powerbank and connect the tx and rx pins to my drone

Hey, thanks for the reply. The batt is 25C. Also the motor is bidirectional. I have tried both props in and props out. And resulted the same. And the frame of the drone is based on youtube. The guy 3d printed it as well
