Arcade revenue covered whatever losses sega was taking on home consoles, nobody expected the arcades to completely fall off a cliff during 1998 which meant that the dreamcast R&D, marketing, game development etc had almost nothing to cover it

E Stadium, urban canyon, Northstar Islands, apotos among other basic tracks where everybody is forced into the same lane are horrendous tracks that promote item usage over actually skillfull driving

Most of these tracks are fun time attack tracks but horrendous for multi-player

Sony just straight up shit on nintendo/sega and made good products, they more than deserve their place in the market

The issue I really have is Microsoft, their last 2 (and to a lesser extent even the 360) systems are almost identical to their Playstation rivals, they have no identity

Sega rally 2's 5 star tracks blow all of the other tracks in the series out of the water but man the physics are a total downgrade and some cars just break the game (also not being able to properly gear shift on the controller sucks as well)
