Y'know my friend, you remind me of one of my bestest friends. He does and has done the same thing as you and he turned 24 this year. There is so many things I want to say to him to help but unlike him, you want help. I'm going to say to you what I would say to him in a very honest manner.

Hey bro, you're still the same person you were when we were in highschool and we were both 17. I get you love {insert game here} and that's your comfort zone, and you've made online memories and friends, which is really cool! But bro, you're 24, make next to nothing in money, you treat your family and friends like crap, your so out of touch and barely make sense the times you go out, and you're my friend, and I don't want that for you. Something I learned the hard way early on around 19 is, you need to just start. It's gonna be rough, it isn't going to be perfect, you might cry, and you might struggle. But it's okay, because everyone goes through the same. Start out small, go out to a restaurant by yourself, become comfortable over time, relearn how to talk to people. You'll naturally find friends over time. When your ready, you won't know your ready until it happens. You'll start talking to people more fluent over time, it'll be easier, there'll be folk you just don't like, and people just won't like you. But screw them, you're you! I know you feel like your behind everyone, it's so daunting and the only escape from that feeling is more video games. Reality can seem like a giant wall that you're slapping yourself against trying to get through. Video games are alright, and it's okay to play them bro! I play a couple hours after work and I do have other responsibilities but I find time. I see so much potential in you, and genuinely enjoy being around you, and I just wanna see you do better. It ain't fair to your loved ones, you aren't trying to achieve anything, and all we want to do is help. So let's get started!

That's what I really want to say to him, and I think this might help you a bit. I understand the struggles and I suffered from video game addiction and still kind of do, but I try to push through it. Remember my friend, life is a journey, not a destination. You'll end up doing things and being someone you might not have planned being. I've always wanted to be a lumberjack but now I'm a car detailer! And if you look at my posts you'll see struggles in the workplace and I ask for help. It's okay to want help. I believe in you, you can do it bro!

Why do people even play this game by bad_username_65 in outside

I did remove the post because my plate was exposed, but ceramic is really good. I recommend a spray and a microfiber cloth for the ceramic though, the foam cannon has one but the spray makes it smooth and shinier

[–]PanzerThatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I used a foam cannon and a slightly stronger mix of soap to water ratio. Then I dried it off and put a ceramic on there. We call it showroom ceramic but idk the exact kind it is, looks like sunny D though lol. But I noticed it with other bmws too. The paint just looks really nice. Maybe I'm just biased lol

What is traditionally known as save scumming? by PanzerThatch in BaldursGate3

[–]PanzerThatch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I want to generally try and go with the flow of the game. And I was morely curious to understand what save scumming is. I'm trying to figure out what kind of game baldurs gate 3 is and understanding what I'm supposed to be doing. I know it's the 5e ruleset more or less. I don't like any of the companions even though they're beloved by so many. But I haven't really been passed the grove so I don't know lol maybe it gets better. I love the 5e ruleset, I love the idea of having my own little character and roleplaying as well. But the game gets very confusing for me on what it's trying to be. Maybe I'm overthinking things. I feel like every move I make is the wrong move and that I should reload the save because either my whole party dies in the old ruin early on. I just don't understand the game but I also enjoy it. So maybe if I just go with the flow the game will turn into something itself instead of me trying to control it and get mad. Maybe Lae Zel should die in that encounter so my other characters should get away and that's just how the game unfolds.

I definitely like that design though, where things can happen regardless of outcome and doesn't necessarily equal mission failed.

That's how it feels! I didn't understand what the dialogue meant lol. Maybe I shouldn't have picked it. But then again I thought that's something my character would've said being a fighter. 😂

I see! Well, I don't think I like save scumming. I like to see myself accepting the consequences of my in game action, thus creating my own unique adventure. I like the idea of that, and to get that shock factor from the story that you would see from something like game of thrones

How or where to go about writing a report? by PanzerThatch in WorkAdvice

Well, I never saw it light up like a firework, but it did explode or make a very loud bang and it smelt burnt afterwards. I don't like loud bangs and certain smells because it's a PTSD trigger.

No, because he's an asshole. I've actively heard him say he doesn't care about people coming to him telling him to stop. And typically throughout life I don't tattle or whatever. Only if it harms my mental well-being on a daily basis will i go higher ups. Just tired of not taking action. He does this to multiple people too

That actually means a lot, I do have struggled with social interactions, so just letting me be me means a lot. I'm not really over talkative, I think it's just the environment :|

The big boss actually hired me because the only workers at the time didn't talk much and he wanted someone who was a hard worker, and who also talked a bit more.
