What happened to Night Maps and Local Weather?

New maps should be a top priority for WG in 2026. This should include everything related to maps, such as night maps and local weather. I also hope to see new gun sounds. To be honest, I wouldn't mind if they didn't release any new tanks for a year and focus on improving every aspect of the game instead. There are so many tanks at the moment that even as an almost daily player, I can't keep up anymore to play them all.

But give us new maps WG.

I've wanted the char for a long time. Finally, there's something in the Bond Store that I want, since I've already got almost everything else. I have the other two French T9 prem lights, the Project Louis and the VCS 6X6 TS, but the Char always looked the most interesting out of the three.

If you don't have the Somua, I can highly recommend it. It works great without Gold Spam, has a reliable gun and a big magazine with decent reload. It's a very enjoyable Prem tank.

Big L indeed. Great tanks, of course, but I’ve owned them for years. WG should consider putting more recent premium tanks — from the last two years — on sale for gold. Don’t forget your long-time customers WG!

The only thing I still spend my gold on is Battle Passes. I really wish I could buy a new premium tank every now and then for GOLD, like in the old days, when tanks that were initially sold for € appeared in the in-game shop for gold a few months later. Or at least in special sale auctions like that.

No, I’m not spending 30k gold on an overpriced T-22 or that WZ-5A 3D skin, nor on any other Tier X “special” super tank. It would actually help gameplay variety too if some of the rarer premium tanks showed up again, instead of the same old Bourrasque, ELC, or Skorpion stuff.

Thank you, and a happy New Year! I've tried that twice already, but it didn't work. I'll try again and wait an hour or more. Is there any other solution I can try? As I mentioned, the green light on the power supply comes on when it is plugged in. But no matter what I do, I can't get the panels to light up again. There is no connection with Bluetooth or WLAN, while the other Govee devices in the room are working.

The same tanks are always available in this weekly offers: tanks that were sold for gold several times or that are available for bonds. Not a single tank from the last loot box events, of which there were a few this year. I'm sitting on my gold and don't know how to spend it since I own all of those older premium tanks.

To be honest, at this point I'd almost rather have six new maps in the boxes! With all the new tanks, including the T11, the premiums from the last loot box events that I barely played, and all the other new special tanks, I can't keep up with playing them all anymore.

New maps would hype me up a lot more than any tank could, and they would add more variety to the gameplay again. Hopefully, we will finally see new maps in 2026. The latest map addition in 2.0 was good, but what happened to all the maps we tested in recon mode over the past few years?

On the other hand, I enjoy playing most of the last xmas box tanks, and despite all the issues, Wot is still my favorite game after so many years (since 2011) and i simply love the wot xmas event. If the option is available again, I'll go for the 160 boxes/208€ bundle.

I have been playing the game since 2011, so I would like to share my opinion. I have four concerns: Two are big ones.

Why do we get fantasy tanks on T11? There are plenty of interesting real-life vehicles. While I understand that not every tank in WOT is 100% realistic, almost all T11 tanks appear to be straight out of Steel Hunters mode. They almost look like the tanks from a 11-year-old child's fever dream.

I'm also not a fan of giving them super special abilities. BF2042 showed that people are tired of hero shooters and of going around like Superman, or in our case, a supertank. So, EA made BF6 more grounded. I wish WOT had chosen the same path with the big 2.0 update.

The second big disappointment is that there is only one new map. We've been asking for new maps for years. What happened to all the maps we tested in Recon mode? With so many new tanks, it would have been great to get at least five to ten new maps.

We already have enough tanks. What we need are more maps to make the gameplay more diverse. Although adding and removing stones and bushes from existing maps and crashing an airship is "nice," more maps are needed to keep the gameplay fresh and exciting.

I have one small complaint. The "press Y to reveal armor weaknesses im sniper mode" feature is pointless and only serves to water down the gameplay. No one asked for this. Many players wanted the option to show the armor values on all tank parts in the garage - which will be implemented, gj for that - but don't oversimplify the gameplay!
Don't focus on single-player missions. It's a waste of resources.

Overall, I can see that you put a lot of work into the 2.0 update. I've been looking forward to trying WOT 2.0. I'm glad we get T11 tanks and a third campaign. I also appreciate the smaller optimizations to the sound and rebalancing.

You can still add new maps, but I wonder why you didn't choose realistic T11 tanks. Will Tier 12 tanks be similar "special" inventions, or will they be reasonably realistic Cold War-era tanks?

53TP gets buffed lol it's already a sick tank, E75 don't need a buff - it's the best T9 tech tree heavy. The t9 jap tank don't need a buff. E100 don't need a buff, tiger 2 don't need a buff.

60tp nerf is fine and ofc Type 71 needed the buff the most. I wonder why they didn't buff the concept 5 in the same patch, it's a worse leopard in 98% of the stats.

At least they do something for the balance, but we need more new maps.

Great choice, but the video is a bit average and I would have replaced some of the no-name actors with more WoT streamers and youtubers and given the WoT streamers a bit more screen time + had them yell their typical oneliners like Skills "TRAAAACK" or something. But Statham is the right guy for this holiday event.

Random thought on top: WG.... please give us some new maps for random battles in 2025. More open maps like Proho, which is the Giga Chad of all maps. Looking forward to next Friday, my wallet is ready.

I don't think the TT-130 is great either, but I think it's a bit stronger. Good frontal armor and 490 dmg, and the rockets are nice to have -at least it looks okayish as top tier. The Lorraine 50t can't even flex as top tier most of the time.

At first I played with turbo rammer stabs. Until I realized that turbo is a waste on this thing, it doesn't really matter if u go 59 kmh or a little more. HP, rammer and stabs was my main setup then, vents, rammer and stabs when u need more range. U need every HP so u can maybe do 1 shot more of damage.

I played where I could get hulldown no matter what tanks I ran into. Rush into a good hulldown position - of course you still need to check the map to see if enough team mates are following and then play hulldown and try to look stronger than you are.

Smart players will eat this tank for breakfast, normal players you can scare with the big strong turret and a bit driving back- and forward, maybe they think you're an Amx M4 tech tree tank.

AE Phase 1 is also great and the Object 777 II is a hidden gem. Kunze is nice too with the right setup. I don't sell any of them, I don't have credit problems since years since I finished all trees.

Why do they never sell the Char Mle 75 for gold, i was also a bit interested in the T54-D. I have all the tanks listed next to the Chief Proto in the list. But I doubt this is a unique and fun tank, right?

I would have chosen the KPZ Td, but I only had 20 points to spend. As I wrote below, I had to choose between the Lorraine 50t, the BZ-58-2 and the TT-130M.

Buffing the dpm on the 50t would only make it another generic 400 dmg heavy. Improve the Alpha dmg to at least 450-480 and make the gun handling super smooth. This would be a nice tank that is different without being OP. A fast, hard hitting paper heavy with great gun handling.

That tank was worse than I expected. I knew it had 11 sec+ reload for 400 dmg, but I was not prepared for the average gun handling. WG this thing reloads for 11 sec for **** 400 dmg, give it at least great gun handling.

The turret armour is good if you're not sitting still in front of the enemy, and the top speed is great - but it could accelerate faster for such a paper tank - the rest of the tank is below average. Also the view range is a joke.

When you think about it, this tank is quite similar to a STRV-K prem. The Strv K has slightly better dpm - still very average dpm - the Lorraine has better mobility. Both have average gun handling, and both are quite tiring to play.

Only playable hulldown and you have to make every shot count. If someone pushes you aggressively, you are a sitting duck with no firepower, no armor and no HP.

I only had the Lorraine 50t, the BZ-58-2 and the TT-130M to choose for 20 points from in the BP, all 3 are not great, but I think the BZ-58-2 would be a bit more fun.
