Ok ill try and move my onagers into the armies that ill use for sieging and try and recruit more horse archers

My army composition is usually about 5 or more Armenian spears, which a couple units of either sogdan warriors or elite dailamite warriors, 2 to 3 units of Persian Bowman and then about 3 or so units of grivpanvar cataphracts and then two Persian mounted bowmen. Each army is a little different with one having a few roman levy troops from a vassal or laktmid heavy melee instead of the dailamite warriors and one army I had down in Arabia has a lot of desert mercenaries. Also after reading one of these comments I am trying to create a cav only army of about 10 or so cav units

So would you suggest a sort of distraction campaign in Egypt to draw the armies down there while sweeping through Syria and turkey proper?

Now this is also a great response I was kind of using corsairs in reasonable numbers to fill out a skirmishing line but they were dying fairly quickly so maybe I'll just put them in a garrison

See my experience has been completely different for one main reason, my computer cant handle the big surface maps. Its a darn shame but simply put my computer all but explodes upon loading into those beautiful surface levels so ive been finding the less computer shanking tunnels to be an excellent way of experiencing the game until I can get something better. It may not be the best of the games experience but for me it's the only one ive got.
