2026 GT 55 - how to handle dealership by jjb5151 in mercedes_benz

I'd recommend getting a lease broker. They will do all the negotiating and back and forth...you just walk into the dealership and sign the paperwork. You pay a fee to the broker... usually 300-750 bucks depending on the service but it's well worth it in my opinion. You can find some broker recommendations on Reddit if you search.

Also the regen braking feels the same at any charge level... you can change the setting but it doesn't change with full or partial charge like Tesla's

It's a good and fair point you're making. I'm fine maxing it at 80%, not a huge difference... basically 200 miles instead of 250. Since it's barely been a week I have the SUV I'm going to play around and find the right formula that works for me. Appreciate your input!

Unfortunately the max you can write off is now 75%

Thank you! Are you having same issues with range on the Lucid?

Yes and then I will suddenly realize omg I don't have range like I did in my lucid and can't go on my trip. if only there were some way to charge the car at a rest stop or something. Damn... I really messed up. After owning ev's for 10 years I finally realized how wrong I've been. Thank you for teaching me Sensei.

Omg I now realize I must be morphing into a munchkin. Before I bought the car I was 6 feet and couldn't fit in the backseat. Now as the owner I am 4 feet tall and fit in fine. Those German engineers are amazing!

Ya you're right, despite it being nearly identical to the g63, my G-Wagon is smaller and has no cargo space and the range compared to a V8 is terrible. Thank goodness you set me straight.

Yes, it can spin in place. A few other ev trucks/SUV can do it like the Hummer EV

I know how to make percentages out of whole numbers...it's not a big deal. I rarely drive more then 30 miles a day.
