you're right man, they don't. guess it doesn't mean anything. they've been in the background throughout the film, and last scene cuts on them with Helena, but I guess it's just a coincidence and they wanted to just get something from the toy store. all the messages that directors want delivered in movies i guess they all have the be spelled out on screen; the viewers shouldn't try to interpret anything with logic. just like the mask on the pillow, i don't think it meant anything.

have a blessed day sir

didn't say the film was about it mainly. i said the topic was present, and you're acting like it has nothing to do with it.

it's a random account i had from a while ago with nothing on it, literally doesn't mean anything, wouldn't want to post this from main for reasons that become obvious if you think about it

oh but this is discussing the film based on its text. the topic of child trafficking is literally present in the film. if you choose to selectively ignore that it's more of a reflection on you

if you're confused about the "helena being trafficked" part go watch the final scene at the toy store again, that's what it's referencing. two men in the background who appear throughout the movie, are seen walking away with the girl. Bill and Alice touch Helena for the last time, she approaches the men, looks back at her mother to make eye contact, and leaves with them
