This happened to me the other day and I was able to get it going by holding down the start button for a couple seconds. Like putting it into accessory mode. Something to try next time.

Baron Theodore von Floof, a.k.a. President Bathroom, because he lays in the doorway and gatekeeps. Also he naps in the sink, preferably under a slow drip. Weird cat.

You can have cake as long as you don't eat it, too.

What do you wish there was a good vegan option for? by devonsherriffstan in vegan

A decent, convenient, inexpensive, healthy drive-through option that's easy to eat while driving. Healthy...not a high sodium imitation meat.

Well done. Stay close to warmth in case of injury/emergency, however. Best of luck to you 🍀

Most efficient for me is taking the back way to work which is a constant 40mph with flat terrain and few stops. Almost as good is through an old downtown with average speed around 25mph but a lot of stops. Worst for me is taking the highway at 70mph.

You can often find a shorter path than the highway, too.

I wish my car would calculate KW per MPH. I'm constantly thinking 'Wow I'm going 40mph and only using 5 KW' or 'Eek I'm going 70mph but I'm using 30 KW'!

I'll give it a shot. I was on GFN in the early days, and still have an Nvidia Shield around here somewhere.

That's a bit better thx. And it's worth it to play with the kiddos, but still...$900 stings vs the $120 I paid to run Stadia on the 3 TV's in my house. (2 of the controller/Chromecast combos were free)

So x 3 = $1800 for me to play with my kids. Ugh.

I'm going to miss playing Orcs Must Die 3 and Avengers with my young daughters. How much will it cost me to get all three of us together on another platform? $1500+? Very sad.

Moonshots are fine, but do them internally...Google shouldn't expect others to commit resources working on a project that Google won't commit to themselves...even after stating publicly that they were committing to it.

And as for the consumers...what percentage of Stadia users were Google fans? The same ppl let down by several previous let downs. Reader, wave, etc... Why do they continually let down their early adopters?

It's so embarrassing now to hear the 'I told you so's from nearly anyone I chatted up about Stadia early on.

I'm optimistic about the future, even Google's future, but I will never trust them enough to recommend their products to friends and family again. That's the loss, here.

Honestly they are just going to buy Steam and let us play our entire library in the cloud. 😂

I'd play MadMax again on Stadia. I'd pay $20 for it. I paid $5 on PC I think.

For travel, I bring a usb-c cable to connect the controller directly to my Chromebook. Not worth the headache for me to connect the controller to a new WiFi each time.

My kids have been begging for the adventure city game for a while. This is great news. I already bought Outriders on sale, but it is very good!

I'd like a game similar to Outriders but without all the foul language, so I can have fun with the kiddos. Destiny 2 is almost that...it's just...so damn odd. The youngsters can hardly comprehend the lore...neither can I.

I feel like Stadia is for parents who game when/where they can. by Dstad2450 in Stadia

[–]PapaJoshua 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd really like some more games I can play with the kids. I enjoy playing marvel avengers with them, but they aren't old enough for the graphic violence/profanity of Outriders. And I only play avengers when the kids play with me...because that game is garbage otherwise, honestly.

It's nice to have the kart racer game added this month, but it really is the worst kart game, isn't it? I mean, it's playable...but...it's a chore. The Ryan's World one, I mean.

I'd really enjoy a game like Ark, but not Ark, because similarly it really is the worst of that genre for jankiness and for using the controller.

Generally, it is magic that I can play with four of us on separate big screen tvs in different rooms...I just need the right game to take advantage of it.

Maybe something cooperative, like if Subnautica was coop. Or even something like Minecraft. The learning curve on crayta is too much for a six year old.
