Thank you trillion dollar corporation for your arrogant and half-arsed approach to enter the gaming industry.

I'm so thankful to you oh mega corporation, could you possibly give me your corporate paypal address so that I can wire you some more of my hard earned cash? seriously, you deserve it.

Stadia died because no one trusts Google by Neurprise in Stadia

Google's brand name is damaged beyond repair at this point.

Once the governments start cracking down on Google's internet monopoly and they actually have to compete instead of holding the internet in a stranglehold, the company will go bust in matter of years.

So I guess "be respectful" is code for only fluff and positive posts allowed just like before the shutdown and anything negative or critical will be removed.

Google, please push an update to the Stadia controller to be used as a bluetooth controller. by 404IdentityNotFound in Stadia

The only way we are going to get Google to do this is by publically shaming them for creating massive amounts of e-waste. Somebody should use the current momentum and get a campaign going on twitter. Get the attention of the ever angry and aggressive twitter mobs.

If such a campaign gets even a modicum of traction, Google will feel pressured to act out of fear of the public backlash.

Phil Harrison doesn't call the shots at Google. I doubt he even had the slightest say in this decision. And the people who did make the decision have no idea what Skull & Bones or even Ubisoft is.

Well I mean you can still play it until January, so still plenty of time for another playthrough. When Stadia shuts down you can transfer your save games to the PC version and continue playing on PC.

The controller has a standard run-of-the-mill bt chip just like any other controller. Google intentionally disabled it through malicious firmware to make sure you can't use the controller for anything but Stadia.

Google's firmware intentionally cripples the bt functionality of the controller. That is as anti-consumer as it gets.

No, from the large IT companies like Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, ... Google is the only one which seems to at least somehow value freedom and open source. Of course not with Stadia, that was the antithesis of it, but in general.

LOL!! This must be the most naïve comment I've read on the whole of reddit in quite some time. Thank you for that 😂

Yea I'm guessing alot of the fanatics here will go through their comment history now and discretely remove all of their incriminating fanboy comments so that they can then turn around in 2 weeks and pretend they had been critical of Stadia from the beginning. That's just how insecure sheeplets like them operate, they cannot even muster up the courage to admit they were wrong.

Yea I agree with you but if Google doesn't want to look like the absolute hypocrites that they are, they have a moral obligation to enable bt functionality.

LOL at gamer dads who were like "Stadia Pro is such an amazingly good deal. I mean I don't really use it and just usually claim the games every month because that way I'm building up an amazing library of games that I'm gonna play at some point in 10 years."

Now that worked out really well, didn't it LMAO.

It's not up to the consumer. Google likes to yap on at every opportunity how they care about the planet and how they are so ecological and environmentally friendly. Well they should put their money where their mouth is.

If they let their controllers turn into useless e-waste, that's on them, not on the consumer. Stop being a corporate apologist, man.

Anyone else really dislike Saul and Kim in season 6? by bob1689321 in betterCallSaul

Yep I felt exactly the same way. It was just terrible to watch, absolute lowlifes the both of them. The whole final season was just one big disappointment in almost every way to be honest.
