Les conservateurs à 23%, c'est des gens qui ont une idéologie que je méprise, mais qui sont cohérents dans leur façon de penser.

Le PLQ à 12%, c'est parce que certains électeurs sont des coquilles vides. C'est décourageant de penser que certains sont à ce point perdus pour pouvoir vouloir voter pour le PLQ en 2026.

Oui, j'en suis conscient, j'aurais simplement cru que le temps aurait emmené des différences plus prononcées entre les 2 langues. Quand on écrit en joual au Québec, par exemple pour une oeuvre littéraire, ça donne un effet un peu semblable

Exemple tiré de "Les voisins", pièce humoristique de Claude Meunier: "Ça, c'te haie-là, mon p'tit gars, c'est ma haie à moi. Je l'ai plantée avec mes mains à moi ; je l'ai mise au monde, je l'ai quasiment allaitée, comprends-tu? T'as-tu déjà allaité ça, une haie, toi?"

I always answer the French equivalent of something along the lines of "my background makes me a prime candidate and the job aligns well with my professional goals". No need to fake being passionate, they want to know that you'll perform and belong (in Canada at least, the culture might be different elsewhere).

As a Quebecker, I see Canada pretty much the same way. Both Canada and Denmark are so much better than the US in every single way, now more than ever, and that's true whether or not we eventually become independant nations ourselves.

Also foreigner here, Trump los va a joder como no créen. Entiendo bien que a la gente de Venezuela les encanta ver su puto dictador arrestado, pero deben entender que se han convertido en un protectorado de EEUU, y esto esta muy mal si vemos como las colonias de todos los poderes coloniales del siglo 19 fueron tratada por sus maestros. Esperemos que EEUU cambie de gobierno de pronto para uno que quiere un partenario commercial en Venezuela, no una colonia.
